The main dishes were similarly flavourful and complex. The only fly in the ointment was the service. It took ages to get our order taken despite the fact that there were three members of staff stood chatting by the bar. Later when we wanted our empty plates collecting and order some sweet nobody was around at all. When eventually one member of staff did arrive there were many tables that all wanted servicing creating unacceptable delays. Overall it should have been a 4/5 star review, but the poor service has dragged it down, but the food was so good I'm going to be generous and still give it 4*. Recommended, just don't be in a hurry.

The Bombay Bay has it's own website and as you can see from the menu online the prices are excellent value for the quality of the food. The pictures are representative of just how nicely the meals are presented. I was surprised by the generously sized portions and very pleased as all the dishes I have tried have been delicious. The restaurant is very clean with a nice atmosphere and well placed tables and for those who smoke, and those who want to enjoy the view and a spot of fresh air there is also a balcony which is a nice bonus.

It's the first time I've had it and I was impressed. Delicately flavoured and packed with tomato and onion. The sauce was really tasty there just wasn't enough of it to dip the bread in. The meat itself was nice a little tough for my liking but still very nice. The chapattis where beautifully cooked, fresh and hot strait out of the tandoor they where perfect. Not too small you think what's the point. And not too bit you think what am I going to do with this? The meal was finished off nicely with complimentary liquors. We decided not to go for dessert because we'd had such a good meal there was no more room. The service in this restaurant is very good. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful.
