My experience with going to salons over the years has been hit and miss. I didn't want my hair to get fried or to have it chopped in a triangle shape because curly hair is different, right! I needed someone to understand what I was looking for, to cover my grays but as low maintenance as possible. Kayli gave me a free consultation, which was perfect. She listened to my ideas and concerns and the best part is she made it happen! She's got skills y'all! Highlights, lowlights, shadow root and trim which made the most of my curls without going too short. The salon has a happy vibe and is very cozy. The other stylist was doing amazing work on the clients who sat in her chair as well. I could see how happy the other gals were to be there. I highly recommend TC Hair Studio.

She first caused a lot of damage by braiding to tightly and flat ironing my daughters hair too hot, in my opinion. This was followed by an attempted haircut in which she tried to match the broken hair in the front all the way around with layers, giving my poor kid a mullet. If Jazmin was able to recognize different types and textures of hair and treat them accordingly this all could have been avoided. Bellow are pictures before Jazmin touched my daughters hair and photos of the awful haircut she just received.

She was playing my head for about 2 hours and when I left that place I had to get it fixed. I looked like I had been electrocuted!!! I called this supercuts location and spoke with a girl named Sam. The lady in front of me whose hair she fixed looked amazing when Sam was done. She then took me to wash all the gunk that had been left from the previous stylist out and then got started on the blow dry. She took her time and did my hair absolutely perfect. I can't believe how great of a job she did. I was trying to be nice to the previous stylist whose salon I just left but the previous stylist almost had me in tears. Thank you Sam for absolutely making my day/night and doing an amazing job.!(: I usually just do my hair at home but due to a few recent surgeries I'm not supposed to bathe by sponge baths for the next couple weeks. I use to go here from 2023-2025. I'd get ankle length for $400. THEYRE PRICING not mine. I booked an appt a few months back and asked For super long. I was told for appts not available on site to call ahead so they can have 2 braiders available. Cool. Fast forward to now. I book an appt 9 days out, 20$ deposit, and text the number that I want super long. IMMEDIATELY I was met with complete disrespect. I was damn near cussed out for asking questions and trying to book how they told me to. The price was double what it was, so I politely declined and stated I'll keep my original appt. The response was absolutely disgusting and unbecoming of fellow African Americans. I couldn't believe that a random stylists, whose services I'm trying to obtain would go so hard for simply asking questions for clarity. So, reasonably, I canceled the appt. 20 MINUTES after booking it. They made it clear a refund won't be happening. I once went to her salon early (probably 9:15), and she was nowhere to be found, so I went to "Stupidcuts" down the street near Fred Meyer. That was the biggest mistake I have ever made to get my haircut. As I mentioned above I usually get my hair cut at a 1/4" length, Stupidcuts refused to do it. I just needed to clean up the mop that had grown on my head. The total at Stupidcuts was $30, and they wouldn't cut any shorter than 3/4", I think it was the worst haircut I have ever gotten. Getting my hair cut there (at Stupidcuts) wound up costing me $50, $30 for them to cut it wrong + $20 for Lynn to fix their screw-up.
