We signed a contract on July 22, 2024, with a promised completion date of September 1, 2024. That deadline came and went, with much of the work still incomplete, and our backyard a complete mess. On November 20, 2024, we made the mistake of paying Ben in full, despite the project being incomplete. A new agreement was signed, stating the remaining work would begin March 1, 2025 and be completed by April 30, 2025. It is now September 20, 2025, and the project is still unfinished. Ben has repeatedly failed to show up, made countless excuses, and broken every commitment. His communication is unreliable at best, and he has not responded to my demand for a partial refund so we can hire someone else to finish the job. Do not hire Ben Gross/ Carbon Build & Design. Save yourself the stress, time, and financial loss. This has been a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience.

It seemed very overwhelming the amount of damage that was left in its wake, but Schaun walked us through every step of the way. From dealing with the insurance company to mitigation and finally rebuilding the ceiling, floors, walls and everything else that needed to be replaced, Schaun and his team were on top of it every step of the way. The whole damage (which trust me was a lot) took eight or nine weeks total to rehab and most of that time was spent waiting for the insurance company to approve the claim. Even before the claim went through, Allied was at our house with air scrubbers, giant fans, and dehumidifiers to prevent any mold buildup that may have taken place since the leak. They were also on top of the insurance company to get our claim approved, and once it finally was, his crew was here the next day to get started on the work and continued to be here each day until the job was done. Schaun was very professional and courteous and his crew did a great job getting our house back in order. I would recommend them to others and use Allied Property Services again if anything like this ever happened again.

We received his estimate and it was honestly a good bit less than we expected. We had good communications prior to the job, he showed up when he said he would, and watching him work revealed a great deal of attention to detail, and I actually saw him measure things 3 or 4 times before cutting.... The job was done when he said it would be, his cleanup of the site was perfect. Absolutely nothing to dislike.... Highly recommended!
