Nevermore repair fire place, came to my house to give me an estimate on my fireplace. His worker went out my front door, which is iron very costly door and he went out twice. The second time he was out jingling my lock handle and proceeded breaking the thumb lock instead of ringing the bell and letting me know he had a problem getting back in the door admitted he broke it and then in the same sentence said he couldn't do any business for me and for me to call a lawyer because he wasn't paying for my iron . read more

I hired Nevermore last year for a chimney replacement. They came out to replace some rotted wood which turned out to be a bigger job than expected with the possibility that my chimney might collapse. Scary thought. But they got the job and it's still looking good today. They even recommended someone for some smaller jobs around the house that they don't usually do. I was disappointed that I didn't get the fireplace repaired. I explained to them before they come out, that I only wanted them to come out if they could repair the fireplace. i was assured they were very experienced and they would be able to make the needed repair. However, once they are out I was told they couldn't because they couldn't find the serial number. read more

David and Zack came out to our house in December for a chimney cleaning and inspection. We knew we would be needing some degree of repair on our cap and pan, but David informed me that we had been fitted with the wrong size pan the whole time we have lived here and the damage was much more extensive than we anticipated. We were quite frustrated that no previous chimney service company brought the issue to our attention before the damage was done, but David put together a fair and comprehensive proposal to fix the chimney. The remote for the gas fireplace on our screen porch was not igniting the logs. The pilot light is on and the logs can be engaged manually by turning the knob. A service representative from nevermore came over and for $95 (the minimum charge for a visit) told me I needed a new receiver box. When he returned to the office, he told me that a new receiver box could be installed for $500! I looked up the manufacturer of the receiver box and found that a new one could be shipped to me for $130. Furthermore, I contacted the manufacturer's tech support and they worked with me on the existing receiver box - turns out it was not installed correctly by the builder's crew and I did not need a new one. read more
