This company at least on this Last Frontier tour did nothing but break promises. The tour guide that was meant to be non other than the CEO decided it better to be in melbourne to promote his company, than make sure the trip and it was only the second time they had done this tour and in there terminology a level 4 ride the toughest of them all with Nevermind so still needed fine tuning replacing himself with an inexperienced inadequate replacement who didnt know anything about the trip or the area., and at times was rude to the locals.
They broke there promise on the bike we were meant to be using, they broke there promise on the level of accomadation, (booked the day before on more than one occasion) though $1000 non refundable deposits had been paid and to this day on i have on good authority some of the hotels havent been paid. The tour is based around finishing at the hornbill festival which runs once a year, yet there was no accommodation booked until the night before. The welcome pack that stated three meals a day wasnt true, on numerous days the riders had to buy there own lunches, the riders were told on rest days they again had to buy there own lunches, Riders were asked to pay for items written in the itenary , as apparently they were optional tours but nothing was written saying they were optional.
Washing clothes was available one day in the whole 15 day tour because of the disjointed tour, itenary not followed, if there were circumstances that led to this then that is acceptable, but there was none other than disorganisation and a whole day fixing a bike. As all riders will know you travel as light as possible especially when told there will be opportunities to wash every two or three days. Only 11 days of riding took place when there was meant to be 13.
Riders were not allowed to put petrol in the day before what should have been the last days riding, consequently riders ran out of petrol and the nevermind guide who had a full tank had to improvise to get fuel out of his tank into the other tank. Bikes werent washed after going through deep mud on numeourous days so how they maintained them i dont know ,well they didnt.
the Last Frontier tour was new but the clients were not important enough for Nevermind and i qoute " Go above and Beyond " to ensure the tour was a success as they like to say,
