It's funny how the same people keep writing the same negative things in any social media they can grab to cast aspersions on Nevermind Adventure. They keep referencing 1 trip out of all the trips this company has run over the past few years. Yes, you had things go wrong ... It is India ... Yes, things didn't go to plan... It is India ... Yes, the bikes were Royal Enfield Bullets ... Get over it ... I booked the 18 day adventure with Nevermind Adventure last June and celebrated my birthday which a bunch of people who only a few days before were total strangers at the top of the world's highest motorable road on a classic motorcycle ... It doesn't get much better than that ... We had challenges and sickness, tiredness and some small injuries... But we all completed it and felt such an overwhelming sense of achievement. I still catch up occasionally with these guys over a year later!! I came back and by December had booked to go on another trip this time through Rajasthan... Same company... Same bikes...a new adventure. Right from the get go I have loved the ethos of Nevermind Adventure and the straight up, no bullshit attitude. If you expect five star the whole way and an easy ride, go to Starbucks via The Sheraton .... If you want adventure in an overall fun and safe environment then get out there and book a trip ... read more

I had the most awesome tour through the Himalayas into Nepal. The riding was tough and exhilarating, I don't know how the bike made it through the punishment I gave it but the mechanic team kept the bikes maintained each night so it never failed me. Funny that a few people here have complained that they didn't stick to the itinerary - that was one of the best parts about my trip! When we got to a place we liked (the monastery village in Upper Mustang) and wanted to stay longer, the tour leader organised another night. Later, instead of riding back to Delhi as planned, we decided to go the other direction to Varanasi and see the temples on the Ganges...we got 5 star accommodation for the final night and a domestic flight back to Delhi thrown in. Some of the other nights were pretty basic but that was all part of the adventure...expect to get cold, muddy, and take a bit of skin off...there was always some tasty food and cold beers at the end of each day. The fact that the tour wasn't planned in advance meant it could be changed and improved at short notice, according to the wishes of the group. I had a brilliant adventure...it was challenging, never easy, but I loved it. I've done two trips now with Nevermind, through Rajasthan and through Nepal, and I wouldn't hesitate to do another one in future. read more

Having never been to India or Nepal before my trip I really had no idea what to expect. Nevermind put a lot of time and effort into preparing me for the adventure ahead from well documented field notes to a full day great ocean road pre adventure (which was one of the best days riding I have ever done and before I even got on the plane!). Value for money is second to none, the Indian and Australian guides are massively supportive and helpful and you know these guys have always got your back. I decided to ride the Bullet 500cc and have since purchased one. I found it to be an amazing, fun and tough bike that inspired confidence in some very challenging conditions. The experience was by no means easy or comfortable and if that is what you are after then look elsewhere. What the trip was was life changing, my riding has come ahead in leaps and bounds and I have made so many new life long friends. Thanks to all the Nevermind crew for sharing these hidden gems with us. The organisation from the time I made contact was super efficient, friendly and helpful and our visit to the Nevermind school in India is a must. The kids are beautiful and the work the Nevermind team are doing in the community is inspirational. Cannot recomend these guys enough. read more

Had a bad experience with this company, travelling in a group of 10 to NW India, we found them totally disorganised, the itinerary was not followed so we missed many places that we had individually signed up to visit, accommodation was not booked in advance despite all of the tour members paying AU$1000 one year in advance and hence the changes in itinerary we stayed where ever was available even if it was in the wrong place. The bikes were unreliable and were not what was promised and the company reps on the trip were ill advised and not helpful. We travelled day to day with no advised itinerary each day. Now they may say that is the adventure but it was chaos due to poor planning. The local reputation in NW India of Nevermind is also poor it seems. The response from Nevermind management during the trip and post has been patronizing and rude. This was the most expensive mistake I have made and the trip was expensive., I enjoyed the experience despite Nevermind as the other riders were all in the same boat. My advice, think again and look at booking with a local tour operator such as Chain reaction or another. Steer well clear of Nevermind in my opinion is the best advice. read more

After years of looking forward to an adventure for the ages, this year saw it come to fruition. The great people at Nevermind Adventure made the difficult seem easy when organising our journey. From chaotic cities and crazy traffic, open highways to almost goat tracks and desert sands we traversed the amazing place that Rajasthan is. India is both what the stereotype looks like and it's absolutely nothing like the stereotype. It fills up your wow bag and spills out the top. Our tour leader Mark, local guide leader Naim, mechanics who kept us all running and the best bus driver in India ran a tight ship and made sure we were where and when we needed to be at all times. Challo!! I started our journey with one friend and we met 12 other adventure minded travellers who all became good friends. I fully recommend Nevermind to anyone who wants to stretch their adventure beyond where they thought it finished. Matt, Anna and the crew will see you right. I'll be going somewhere with them again. My hubby, Paul, had wanted to revisit his early 20s (he's 60 plus now) and ride a motorcycle through Northern India with me as pillion! It wasn't my idea of a great holiday however I researched tours and found Nevermind Adventure. After meeting with Matt a few times we decided to book the Rajasthan tour. It was perfect for us. The whole NA team are so passionate about what they do and you get caught up in their enthusiasm. Once on the ground in Delhi you are right in the thick of it staying at the Tara Palace hotel for a couple of nights as you settle in. The next 10 days were mind blowing. Both the Aussie and Indian tour leaders are second to none. Our accommodation was like staying in the Exotic Marigold Hotel every night. The days riding were both epic and challenging. There is so so much I could write about our trip which truly was the most amazing adventure. It's the tour you have when you aren't on a tour. We highly recommend Nevermind to anyone wanting to ride India. read more

My partner and I did a Himalayan tour with this company in August of this year. Fantastic. The tour guide was a gentleman, who encouraged the novice riders among us (as did the more experienced riders on the tour). He liased with the local guide & support crew & made sure all the house keeping was done, all we had to do was ride. Accommodation ranged from glamping (tents with en suite) in the remote wilderness areas through to swish hotels in the larger towns and cities. The food varied from region to region, but was excellent. Our bikes were Royal Enfeilds (Indias favourite), all in great condition and road worthy and kept that way by the local support crew each night. When we broke a couple (not Neverminds fault at all). True adventure is stepping outside your comfort zone In January i went on the South India ride with my wife and 9 year old boy. As novice riders we were well outside our comfort zone. Crowded city roads, hairpin after hairpin winding up through the mountains, busses that wont give you an inch more room on the road then they have to. More then once i questioned whether i had bitten off more then i could chew. And for the first few days there was always a sigh of relief when we made it to the next hotel (the accommodation was amazing!!!). By the end of the tour i had grown so much as a rider. Its not an adventure if you don't step outside your comfort zone, and you couldn't ask for better people then the nevermind crew to step outside your comfort zone with. Just completed the Himalayan Rumble with Nevermind Adventure and had a blast. Great riding, awesome bikes and legendary group of people. This ride threw everything at us and the Nevermind team did not flinch once. They seem to know every mountain pass and pothole in the Himalayas and are just the most amazing bunch to travel with. The best thing I have ever done in my life!! Initially I was a bit reluctant being a relatively inexperienced rider however after a few spins with these guys down the great ocean rd I was ready for India and the Himalayas. The first day I was scared stiff however the Australian and Indian tour leaders were so encouraging and supportive that they had me riding like a pro in no time. A week riding in India is like 10 years riding back home. I am without doubt a 100 times better rider and have seen the most amazing place on the planet with the best possible people. Walked into the Geelong West shop a few months back and was blown away! Amazing concept Royal Enfield Motorcycles, awesome bike gear and fantastic service. Didn't have to think long before I was on my way to India. Just back from my first overseas bike trip to Rajasthan with these guys. Seriously do not hesitate, Nevermind have nailed the formula. I rode with nevermind last year around rajisthan. It was an absolute blast. We ride old school royal enfield bullets wich were unstoppable, on some the roughest and most interesting roads you could imagine. We saw things you can't possibly see from a bus or a car, and got to truly experience the real india. The crew looked after our every need and all we had to worry about was enjoying our trip.
