It's 5 minutes walk to Rye beach and about 15 minutes drive to Hot springs.

Ian and Denise are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have fitted and furnished the bungalow to a high standard and with a lot of care. The bungalow is well equipped with everything that you need for a short stay. There's a well-equipped kitchenette, lovely breakfast provisions (including home-made preserves), home-baked cookies and even some Berocca (in case you have a big night). The bed is super comfortable, the shower is great and Foxtel is a bonus! This is a great option for a stay on the Bellarine Peninsula!

The holes are spread out and spacious, having a buggy probably wouldn't hurt as this course is quite large. At some holes a view of the sea can be seen, I spend more time just standing and gazing at my surroundings instead of watching where my ball lands. I would say this is a relatively difficult course, it has a lot of inclines/declines and bunkers. The driving range here is on an open field where you hit straight off the ground. The stand out quality of this course is its grass, the green is so well maintained you could swear it were carpet. Cape Shank also has a restaurant on site that offers great quality food. This is a wonderful little resort that acts as a perfect weekend escape.

We saw dolphins and seals and we're able to swing with them. On the way back, we even saw two massive rays! The weather was not great, but the dolphins don't care! They are wet already! Don't expect to get too close or to touch them, but do expect to be left in awe of their sheer wild beauty. You'll meet the charter on the Sorrento Pier before setting out to sea. Each diver gets a wetsuit (the water is pretty chilly, but not unbearable), and goggles. The charter accommodates sight seers too! Chug along and drop in as the pods swim around the vessel, giving you a magnificent display. As you move on with the cruise, marvel at their dexterity in the water as they coast the waves create by the larger vessels that comes into the bay from Tasmania. You'll witness incredible jumps and flips up close. The last stop is Seal Island where you can enjoy free swimming with the local seals. They are pretty friendly and inquisitive and will come up close. If you have the skill, swim along exploring the floor of the bay to see crabs, rays and more! This is an adventure not to be overlooked. It was worth every cent and delivered on the promise. If you are a fan of the wild and enjoy it from a unique point of view, this is something you have to do. The team is punctual and professional and have a great knowledge of the bay and the locals. Dress warm as the winds can be rather chilly, even in summer, and be sure to keep a dry change of clothes in the car in case.

The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were soft ... Thank goodness. The only thing I can say is overnight if you can zone out of passing traffic from 4am onwards, like trucks and all sorts, then you're okay. But this woke me up several times early in the night. The reception are very friendly and helpful. They have a lot of brochures handy and seem to know answers to many questions one may ask about tourism. I would have to praise the big bathroom and large shower. No bath, no worries.

Beautiful architecture with a quiet grace. Family owed and operated. When we first inquired about a room we thought the single common washroom/toilet would be inconvenient but it only added to the rustic history of our stay. Quiet pub and dinning room with great food and drinks, cozy fireplace after a chilly stoll. Perfect little sitting room and breakfast table to enjoy the included continental breakfast. Rates were very reasonable and the charming rooms have comfortable beds with a perfect veranda that overlooks the main street and a little view of the ocean. We can't say enough great things about this place.
