I enjoy coming here for an eye exam. Dr. Williamson and his wife are both awesome people. What I don't like is being upsold by the optician. If you know my insurance and I've told you that I want to keep my frames for my eyeglasses, please don't try to jack the price up of the glasses that I'm trying to upgrade or replace because my prescription has changed.. I am on a strict budget and trying to get me to buy into all the most expensive options for the eyeglasses is just not going to work for me. The doctors are nice and very experienced and helpful. All the people there are friendly and helpful. The doctors explain everything in detail so you know what is going on before you leave. If you need glasses, you can get them there (order) before you go and have them in approximately 2 weeks. My wife and I both went here had our eyes examined and bought new glasses to. Dr. Wong and her staff are seriously the best! They genuinely care about their patients' wellbeing and health. I have been seeing her for almost three years and each time I visit her I leave with a big smile on my face. First let's talk about appointment times. She is so punctual with her appointments and scheduling. I never have to wait more than 5 minutes of my appointment time to see her. This is something I greatly appreciate since I am a student and I don't really have spare time to waste. Secondly, Dr. Wong is very engaging in conservations. We always talk about life and what I am doing. What makes me surprised is she actually remembers what you talked about during her annual visit. I was having a hard time trying to find the flamingo location and Amish Segura was willing to stay on the line m, even though my voice was high intensity and panicked and she was calm and collective and helped me get to the location. It was wonderful that she was willing to come out of the facility and hand deliver the contacts I was trying to pick up. I declined and was able to find the location successfully and went inside and when I came to the eyeglass area, he was very willing to help me find the eyeglass frames that I was intrigued and interested in. Even though the office was full, she was very vocal and discuss the design of the eye gods frames with me. I was most impressed with her service and her kindness and her caring ways. The eye exam was fine. But when I returned to pick up my $800 pair of glasses they didn't feel right. They told me to try them for a week. After 2 weeks my eyes were sore & my vision blurry. I went back to wearing my old glasses. I returned for a re exam. They said the Lab made a mistake with my lenses. Okay. I wait another week & half. I go back & try them on. Still wasn't right. Left eye was blurry. They asked me to wait for the doctor to re-examine my eyes. At this point I'm not very happy. I live across town. I ask them to refund my money & I will just keep wearing my old glasses. It's against policy to refund but she'll ask her supervisor. Just got a call back. They will not refund the money for the glasses. You got it wrong twice. Why would I go back?? I would appreciate a refund for the glasses. read more

Both Drs Wong and Williamson are amazing! The staff is friendly and wonderful as well. every experience I've had were great and I can see that they truly care about their patients. I called regarding eye pain and Dr Williamson was able to see me the same day. He also called me later in the day to see how I was doing. I saw Dr Wong for a follow up and she is just as caring. They both take the time to explain things to you, I never felt rushed or that they were rushing to get to the next patient, and they try to help you in any way they can. We used to like coming here as a family but sadly the service is getting horrible. They are rude and unwilling to help, as my little brothers glasses were defective and literally fell apart. In addition, the customer service of the staff is not family friendly. Our kids come in tears knowing that they have to visit this place again. My family and I were in Las Vegas this week for Market, when I seemed to develop a severe eye infection. My eyes became so irritated and sensitive to light, I could barely open them! My daughter found Nevada Eye Care Optometry online, noted the great reviews, and called. We were told to come in, which we did. Again, I was in so much pain, I could barely open my eyes for the examination. Dr. Williamson was patient, kind, and thorough, even having the ophthalmologist consult. The medicine he prescribed proved difficult to locate, but Dr. Williamson stayed in touch with us by phone, and helped us find it on his lunch break! The next day, I had a follow up appointment with Dr. Doris Wong, and fortunately, I was much improved by then. She was every bit as thorough as her husband, answering all of our questions about what was happening with my eyes. I have been wearing contacts for around 20 years. I was looking for new eye doctor because I moved across town AND I wasn't super stoked about my last doctor. Not to mention the last year's worth of contacts were horrible...I struggled with them daily for a year. Yelpers led me to Dr. Wong and I cannot thank them enough. This has probably been the best eye exam experience I've had in my whole 20 years of going to eye doctors. To start, my husband wears glasses, too, so we usually try to knock out both exams in one visit. They were able to accommodate this, and also expedited things by getting a 2nd doctor to see one of us so we the dual visit wouldn't run as long. The waiting room was bright and clean. The office staff were polite and professional. During my exams, both the technicians and Dr. Wong cleaned the machines before I touched them. I, also, saw them washing their hands. The actual exam was was pretty standard. Dr. Wong was very nice and really took the time to explain things to me and make sure my prescription was perfect. Even things I had been told by eye doctors in the past, that I thought I understood, she explained in a new and better way. She sent me home with a trial pair, and asked me to come back in a week to evaluate them. When I went back a week later we ended up tweaking the original prescription. Dr. Wong was AS excited about my vision improvement as I was. I'm not kidding!! I mentioned some of my concerns about the current lenses, and she definitely listened to me and corrected them in my new lenses. I, also, told her the reason I wear my contacts over my glasses most of the time is because my eyes are so sensitive to light and I have to wear sunglasses...and switching back and forth between prescription sunglasses and regular glasses is a pain. I've tried the transition lenses and wasn't a fan. Dr. Wong really helped me with this issue as well! I ended up ordering my contacts from their office because they were $15 cheaper than 1800Contacts. read more

She also took the time to get to know me, which I thought was awesome. Additionally her staff cleaned and tightened all three pairs of my glasses prior to me leaving. Dr. Wong is one of the most caring providers I have ever encountered- ever. I was visiting Vegas for the weekend and sustained an eye injury involving chemicals. I woke up early morning with pain in one eye and quickly looked up nearby optometrists. Dr. Wong was one of the first ones that popped up- and with great ratings. I called in to see if I could make an appointment and the front desk informed me that walk-ins were welcome. I arrived and waited a little before Dr. Wong took me in. She was very thorough with the medicines she was going to prescribe to me, what I needed to do, and she even gave me alternative options in order to save me money. She really took her time and she did not rush me in any way. She even supplied me with a few tubes of eye disinfectant because she knew I was from out of town and didn't want me suffer during my flight home later that day in case I couldn't find the time to run to the pharmacy in Vegas beforehand. I have never experienced such great experience at an optometry from receptionist, to technician, to the Dr. I was in a hurry due to multiple business meetings and the receptionist was super attentive and helpful to ensure I can get an appointment. I was one of the first patients of this company. The office staff and doctors were great. I had not decided if I wanted to buy contacts. The eye doctors helped me with multiple fittings and found color lens which are in my price range. Very, very helpful. I would recommend them for my family etc. I was not shown the "most expensive" options first, but would work for me. Intimate lobby just off the main floor. I've been to several eye doctors around town and I'm so glad I've found the right doctor! Dr. Williamson is very thorough and takes his time with you. He answers ALL your questions(even if you ask what festivals are in town, ha!) and educates you in the importance of proper eye care. Some doctors offices can be snooty, dreary and not very personable, but the Dr. and his staff are awesome! They actually had genuine smiles on their faces! My husband had an appt as well and he was sold on Dr. Williamson, right away! We both can tell that he is very passionate about what he does and actually cares for his patients. Dr. Wong is ,without a doubt, the most skilled, compassionate, and thorough doctor of any kind that I have seen since moving to Las Vegas twelve years ago. Her approach to patient care should be a model for other practitioners in the area. She treats her patients like family. Even after 28 years in the military and several in private practice, Dr. Wong still exudes a genuine desire to help her patients see as well as possible and displays a genuine excitement when that goal is reached. After finally finding Dr. Wong, I won't go anywhere else for my primary eye care. Now that I can see well enough to do so, I need look no further. She specializes in the difficult prescriptions and contact lens fittings that cause other optometrists to either cry like babies or phone in their efforts. I went in for an insurance covered eye exam. On the way there I got an eyelash or something in my eye which caused some redness and irritation. Even though I told them what the problem was they said the needed to treat the eye exam like a medical exam and charge me $200! Horrible and unethical! I have been a patient here for over 15 years and they continue to give us good service I had an emergency and they got me in same day

I came in because I had a ripped contact lense stuck in my eye and couldn't get it out for a couple days. I go in and Dr. Williamson examines it and tells me it's just a piece of lint and flushes my eye. I go home and about 30 mins after I get home I start to feel the same sensation of a foreign body in my eye. I rub my eye thinking the lint hasn't been flushed out and MY CONTACT FALLS OUT. I won't be returning the next time I accidentally rip my contact. However I give 3 stars because the doctor seems knowledgeable and thorough when it comes to eye check ups. read more
