Living with chronic back & neck pain since my teens I stumbled across this company on Social Media…read morethat showed an advertisement of a person's neck in a position that allows maximum stretching and proper curvature. A few days later saw a different picture with a person on a table which appeared to stretch the back. Made a phone call, and found that they accepted my insurance. But wanted to do a consultation and take x-rays first. The first appointment they went over range of motion and found the pressure points that caused pain and asked about what I do for work? Told them I sit on a computer many hours a day many days a week. Next they worked up the plan for how many times I will be at the center and what types of things I will have to do at home. They take an alternative approach to Physical Therapy. I like what they do and how they don't mess around with isolating the areas that need some strengthening. Have been to 3 different Physical Therapy places around SLC in the past and they came and went and didn't seem to care. Here they use physiotherapy (not sure how different from PT?) and make sure you are on task and doing the proper procedures as designed. This entails stretching, joint mobilization, soft tissue release, strengthening the muscles, increasing flexibility, and improving balance and coordination. The staff, doctors, chiropractors, massage therapist, and nurses all treat the patients with dignity and respect. Seen a couple negative reviews on where which don't seem to have actually been to the facility except to make an appointment. Some guy named Dust C posted the same things over and over which should be flagged by Yelp for inaccurate review. Have been coming to IG since late July '20 and still go 2x a week now Oct '20. And most days are great for being pain free some days aren't so good but are becoming few and far between. The only negative thing I can say about this place is that they sometimes get really busy, and most of the time it is because I am running late to my scheduled appointment. Highly recommend this facility for those that are suffering from pain that want to avoid surgery or an elixir. :-)

I don't think I will ever be able to properly thank the staff at Hand & Orthopedic Physical Therapy…read morein Draper for the quality of care that they provided me during my rehabilitation from full knee replacement surgery. From my very first appointment Eli took the time to understand me and my circumstances and put together a plan to help me through my recovery. Also special thanks to Hailey, Tasha, Andrew and Thomas as they all were excellent at taking me through my excercises. I arrived for PT an overweight, out of shape old man and everyone made the work as pleasant as possible while still making sure I was doing the needed work, I know it was no easy task. Everyone took time to ask questions as we did the work and listened to me and provided feedback on what they were doing and how it was progressing. If you find yourself in need of any of the services they provide I don't think you'll find a better facility to provide you the care.

Four weeks after surgery, I met Shad for the first time, he immediately showed deep concern for the rehabilitation of my arm, while giving confidence that I would regain mobility. Four weeks into PT, by the grace of God and Shad's dedication to my recovery, my arm is more mobile than doctors expected. Shad treats his patients the way he would want to be treated, he spends extra time and care to make sure the best outcome is achieved. I am confident Shad is the best hand and elbow physical therapist, but go find out for yourself if you are in need of a PT.

I was extremely concerned about getting a good PT upon double fracturing my tibia March of 2025. After much looking and asking questions, I had high hopes for Foundation PT. The staff is helpful and very friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. However, Brad Powell, was just too busy to adequately care for me. When I met with Piper, she was great. When Brad P took is obligatory "turn", he was helping 2 patients at once. He'd tell me he wanted to "watch" me do something, which was really code for, it's my other patients turn, so I'll pretend to watch you, while I help them. Then he'd proceed to completely ignore me while I did the assigned task. At one point in my care, I was given a questionnaire about my feedback. I was honest, and that was a big mistake. I complained at his lack of clear explanations, and I was treated with passive/agressive , condescending behavior. I'd tried to reach out to Brad several times after appointments, for clarification, but could never get a call back. He was not happy when I brought that up in the survey. About that same time, we got talking to a cute girl who told us she'd been hired to clean the beds. You could imagine my surprise/concern when she was leading my therapy a week later. She had no idea how I was supposed to do my new tasks, and that was about the time, I'd had enough. I also felt they didn't listen to my concerns. When I repeatedly told them my leg was hurting worse than when I'd fallen and fractured it, they ignored me. I know they followed my Dr's 'prescription' but a few weeks later, I found out I'd been misdiagnosed by the Orthapedic, and my leg was, in fact, substantially worse than when I initially fractured it. The misdiagnosis and treatment were on the Orthopedic Dr, but if he'd have listened to/heard me, some of the problem might have been discovered sooner. I'd think twice about going there, and maybe head to Intermountain PT, where they only help 1 person at a time!!
