Went in for a pelvic floor therapy appointment and called beforehand trying to get an estimate of…read morewhat I would need to pay after insurance. They told me that would be difficult to do without seeing me. I went ahead with the appointment and later found out about a $150 charge for just the inital evaluation of a 1st time appointment (so be aware of that). My 21 minute visit (which wasn't even helpful for my situation) cost me $400. Disappointed about the lack of up front information regarding cost and type of care.

Kasia also worked with me on strengthening my back. If you're a female who has urinary or bowel issues due to age, pregnancy, surgery, etc and/or have pain during intercourse, I highly recommend getting a consultation from Kasia. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. While it might seem strange to see a physical therapist for these issues (rather than, say, an OB/GYN), Kasia does have the training and tools to help. Again, she was very professional and communicated every step in the consultation as well as thoroughly explained her findings and potential treatment options. There are open air exercise areas if you don't care about being watched or aren't working on a more private PT issue. But there are also rooms with sliding doors and curtains that can offer privacy. The rooms are especially helpful if you're going to work on pelvic floor strengthening. I liked the online portal where I could review the exercises she assigned me and could check them off as I did them. I also liked how easy it was to communicate with her via the portal. I completed my PT treatment plan, but wouldn't hesitate at all to go back to Kasia if I ever needed PT again. Also, the front desk employee was also professional, personable, and competent.

I am a big hiker/snowboarder and was experiencing pain while doing my favorite activities and just in everyday life. This weekend went hiking in the Tetons and had no pain and got to enjoy the hike as humans are meant to. I owe that to the Impackt team!!! Excited to see how the snow season treats me with my knees feeling good and strong again. Feeling knowledgeable about what's going on inside my body and what needed to be done to heal it from within was also such a huge help.

They told me what exercises to do and then went back to another patient. Before coming back to UT, I checked my insurance to see which PT was in network near South Jordan. There were several but ImPackt stood out as the best choice for athletes and very active individuals (I love to golf, hike, and ski). I knew I made the right choice on my first visit. Not only was the location very convenient, but the office was bright, modern, and spotless. The care I received was completely different from New York. The therapists who cared for me were hands-on (massage, scraping, vibration, etc.), friendly, and so knowledgeable. And the knee bender machine they have was a game changer! If I ever need PT again, I'll definitely be calling ImPackt.

Living with chronic back & neck pain since my teens I stumbled across this company on Social Media…read morethat showed an advertisement of a person's neck in a position that allows maximum stretching and proper curvature. A few days later saw a different picture with a person on a table which appeared to stretch the back. Made a phone call, and found that they accepted my insurance. But wanted to do a consultation and take x-rays first. The first appointment they went over range of motion and found the pressure points that caused pain and asked about what I do for work? Told them I sit on a computer many hours a day many days a week. Next they worked up the plan for how many times I will be at the center and what types of things I will have to do at home. They take an alternative approach to Physical Therapy. I like what they do and how they don't mess around with isolating the areas that need some strengthening. Have been to 3 different Physical Therapy places around SLC in the past and they came and went and didn't seem to care. Here they use physiotherapy (not sure how different from PT?) and make sure you are on task and doing the proper procedures as designed. This entails stretching, joint mobilization, soft tissue release, strengthening the muscles, increasing flexibility, and improving balance and coordination. The staff, doctors, chiropractors, massage therapist, and nurses all treat the patients with dignity and respect. Seen a couple negative reviews on where which don't seem to have actually been to the facility except to make an appointment. Some guy named Dust C posted the same things over and over which should be flagged by Yelp for inaccurate review. Have been coming to IG since late July '20 and still go 2x a week now Oct '20. And most days are great for being pain free some days aren't so good but are becoming few and far between. The only negative thing I can say about this place is that they sometimes get really busy, and most of the time it is because I am running late to my scheduled appointment. Highly recommend this facility for those that are suffering from pain that want to avoid surgery or an elixir. :-)

I asked three friends who had used a physical therapist extensively and they all pointed me to Travis Booth at Rocky Mountain Therapy Services. They all said he was fantastic and I knew they wouldn't say that if it wasn't true. So I made an appointment and I am SO GLAD I did. Travis, Gentry, Alison and Eric are all awesome to work with. Travis has put together the perfect team. Alison keeps track of your insurance and makes it care free. Aids Gentry and Eric steer you through activities Travis had previously explained and demonstrated to you. Travis teaches you each step in your recovery and lets you know if you are progressing well or if you need work in certain areas. He does so with humor and compassion and truly has your best interests in mind. I am totally happy with my progress and know that I will have full rotation back again. I especially appreciated how the team worked with my schedule and were very relaxed about appointment times. Also, I was extremely concerned after two months, when my insurance expired. Travis made it very clear that he wanted to continue working with me to see me through this and came up with a cash payment that made both of us happy. If your need PT, this team can't be beat. I don't think I will ever be able to properly thank the staff at Hand & Orthopedic Physical Therapy…read morein Draper for the quality of care that they provided me during my rehabilitation from full knee replacement surgery. From my very first appointment Eli took the time to understand me and my circumstances and put together a plan to help me through my recovery. Also special thanks to Hailey, Tasha, Andrew and Thomas as they all were excellent at taking me through my excercises. I arrived for PT an overweight, out of shape old man and everyone made the work as pleasant as possible while still making sure I was doing the needed work, I know it was no easy task. Everyone took time to ask questions as we did the work and listened to me and provided feedback on what they were doing and how it was progressing. If you find yourself in need of any of the services they provide I don't think you'll find a better facility to provide you the care.
