His extreme thoroughness and clear diagnostics were very reassuring. Hours after surgery he was still available in the hospital to help me through reactions to medications. His post-op instructions were clear and reasonable. 8 weeks post op 100% feeling and function returned to my hands after 2 years of numbness. He was not sure how much damage was permanent but was pretty confident I would regain some function. I highly recommend him if you want a clear, thorough, confident, expert surgeon. Apparently he has trained internationally. Two doctor friends of mine had worked with him and highly recommended him as a surgeon and vouched for his reputation. My Physical Therapist and her business partner had direct, personal experience with him and confidently recommended him as my surgeon.

Of course I do understand that there are some dentists out there that are not very friendly or not as thorough as Dr. Patel is. This is the reason why I choose this location and choose this doctor. Extremely accurate and very thorough. Rather you take his advice or not it's not up to him but up to you. Furthermore they give you toothbrushes dental floss and they give you quality items to take home with you. Today's visit went very well and I couldn't be so humbled at the advice he gave me. The staff is totally amazing they will book you within 6 months if they need to see you any sooner they will let you know. So in the meantime as I sit and wait for a checkup I had my teeth cleaning done today with very gentle hands definitely. Of course, coming into the dentist office usually stresses me out. But when I come to this location and this staff they tend to calm you down to make sure everything will be' a-okay! So when my teeth cleaning was going on they give you a pair of glasses so the light won't be shining in your eyes and also they do a thorough cleanup of your teeth with tartar or whatever is going on with your dental issues. Today I had no serious problems. So off I go to another 6 months waiting for another cleanup and x-rays. When I visited the office last year, I was completely satisfied as I had plantar fasciitis and…read moreafter two office visits it was resolved. I returned, as I thought the plantar fasciitis had returned. Doctor Ritter pulled out her ultrasound machine and said that I had plantar fasciitis. That visit I got a shot for the plantar fasciitis. Then I was given the shockwave treatment, of course for $85 out of my pocket as insurance doesn't cover it. I told the girl during this treatment that it hurt a lot. She told me she was using the lowest setting. This was not accurately documented in my office visit notes, as the office notes say the shockwave was "tolerated well without pain". I returned the following week stating that the top of my foot now also hurt. Again, Doctor Ritter pulled out the ultrasound machine and said that she still saw the plantar fasciitis but she also now saw arthritis in the front of my foot(This was not documented in my visit notes anywhere). I was given a shot on the top of my foot that was horrifically painful. I screamed at Dr. Ritter to stop but she did not. I was absolutely in tears in pain. I asked Doctor Ritter why she didn't use lidocaine. She advised she had lidocaine in the shot. I asked why she didn't give the lidocaine first and her response was "well then I'd have to poke you twice". I responded " at least the second time I wouldn't feel it". Then the little assistant came in with the shockwave treatment, which I denied as it was so painful the week before. Because of the horrifically painful experience with the shot and the pain in my heel, I saw an orthopedic MD foot specialist. He advised I did not have arthritis in my metacarsals, but I did have Tendonitis and a stress fracture in my heel. I am now in a boot for six weeks. They gave me a shot on top of my foot, that was not painful because they used lidocaine first. I absolutely will not return to this office. They just want to poke you with shots and ignore what is really wrong with you. Then it seems every time I go, I'm hit up with expenses that are not "are not covered by insurance" (Laser treatment, shockwave treatment, $40 bandages). Then there is the girl at the front desk. This young lady should absolutely not be patient facing. Not only is she always rude, but she absolutely does not know how to communicate. I'm just going to leave it at that.
