I came to Lisa as a last resort to see if she could help manage my chronic shin splints that I had been experiencing for 10 years. These shin splints were constantly derailing my running goals, and I had tried everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) else in the book to get rid of them. She was very easy to talk to, made me feel comfortable during my visit, and was confident that she could help me. After only one session she told me that I was good to go and instructed me to do a few exercises at home every day for the next week. I thought to myself "surely this isn't going to work... there's no way an issue I've had for 10 years will go away with just some massage and stretches." I must say: it did get a little worse before it got better (she warned me this might happen) but now a few months down the line: I am officially free of shin pain and was able to finally complete my first marathon! I cannot recommend her enough! read more

Neuromuscular Therapy - Massage Therapy Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I'm so grateful we have Lisa here in the Phoenix valley. She is truly gifted in healing chronic pain. I suffered a full body trauma injury a year ago and after 8-9 months of seeing doctors, I was getting no help for the pain. Heavy pain meds and surgery options were all doctors gave me. I went to Lisa for the first visit and walked out with hope! After 6 weeks and 3 visits with Lisa, my pain was gone. I expect to need to visit her again from time to time for a "tune up" and I'm grateful to have her in my life. I also work in healthcare and I refer patients to her every week. read more

Wow! I went to PT for months for a shoulder issue. It got somewhat better but never fully healed. I had pain and limitation in my leg. I scheduled an appointment with Lisa just for help with the leg as that was the most bothersome issue. In an hour Lisa not only figured out the cross body issue but treated it. I left so much better than when I walked in. I did the exercises she advised as directed. Easy to do and completed the week. I cannot believe the change. I have recommended friends and family for this. I would have saved myself pain if I had found Lisa sooner! read more

After reaching the end at both Barrow Neurological and Phoenix Children's Hospital, I was totally hopeless for my teen daughter who was injured in a dance accident. A wonderful family friend told us about Lisa and she has changed our lives. My daughter was suffering from chronic pain and headaches and she is the only one who has been able to give her relief from the daily pain. She's not 100% yet but we are getting closer with Lisa! It's so nice to see her smile again and to have her cute personality almost back to normal. I'm so grateful for Lisa and her expertise! read more

Life changing experience! I've been in pain for months and desperate for relief. This is no quick fix. This is a completely different way of addressing chronic muscle pain. I cant explain how grateful i am. read more

I have been seeing Lisa at this location since last year and I must say I've never felt better. I walk without a limp, my body was finally back to normal. I RECOMMEND THIS THERAPY TO EVERYONE SUFFERING FROM ANY TYPE OF PAIN, WHETHER ITS HEADACHES OR BACK PAIN, DEFINITELY CHECK IT OUT With this pandemic (which I believe is over exaggerated) I am suffering in pain so much and I can't wait until this location reopens. I think it's just horrible that the neuromuscular therapy doesn't seem important enough to keep open when so many people are in constant pain. Looking forward to returning and feeling like I'm 30 again. God bless the Neuromuscular Therapist out there. read more

I am just at the beginning of my journey with Lisa, but WOW I was blown away with my first interaction with her. Lisa's knowledge is off the charts and she told me things about my body that no one ever has. I have had years of PT, chiropractic, massage, cupping, tried it all. I know Lisa is going to help me feel like I haven't felt in 35 years. If you have been dealing with pain of any kind, Lisa is the professional for you! read more

Awesome care. Very knowledgeable and personalized sessions. Lisa is also very kind and professional.

My boyfriend and I made appointments with Lisa after a recommendation from a friend. I understand all the amazing reviews now. Lisa is a consummate professional who clearly has spent years learning about the body and nervous system. Her science is solid, the results are amazing, and it is hands down the best money I have ever spent. She is a delight on top of being an absolute treasure. read more

After three days of mild lower back pain, I woke up one morning and the pain was gone. But when I tried to stand up. I literally could not walk, couldn't lie flat on my back, couldn't lie on my stomach at all without excruciating pain running from my back side all the way down my legs. I tried chiropractic and physical therapy, neither of which provided much help or relief. Crutches were too painful so I found myself in a wheelchair. On my first visit Lisa identified the problem areas and went to work on releasing some locked up muscles that were causing the problems. It took about 10 sessions to fully resolve the problem but that was over two years ago and I haven't had any issues since. Last year my fiancée was having some severe shoulder pain. One session with Lisa and the pain was gone and has never returned. Lisa truly is amazing. read more

Lisa is AMAZZINNNG!!! I always thought it was normal to have this pain and burning sensation in my shoulder. Last week, I made an appointement with Lisa, besides that she is super friendly, she is caring and knows what she is talking about. She didn't just make my pain go away, she educated me on what was causing it and how to take care of it. Thank you Lisa for giving me back my sleep, I wake up with no pain and very energetic. Making another appt, go see Lisa, she is the one you should see here in the valley:) read more

I don't usually take the time to write reviews but this one is most definitely worth writing. Went to a chiropractor, acupuncture even went as far as ordering my own MRI to see what could be causing the pain in my hamstrings and glutes muscles. My massage therapist recommended I see Lisa. Within 10 minutes she told me she could have it fixed in five days if I did my exercises. I couldn't believe it... 5 days later I'm back on the tennis court doing all the things I love. read more

Short Version: I tried chiropractic manipulation, acupuncture, dry needling, spinal injections, spinal decompression, and had two back surgeries in 8 months in 2018 - all to fix a "herniated disc" that caused excruciating sciatica. All was going well until March, 2020 when I could not even get out of bed. Lisa said I was one of the worst cases she'd seen! Two months/eight appointments later - no surgery. etc. - just Lisa's gifted understanding and her talented approach to releasing problematic trigger points. I am well on the way to recovery. P.S. I'm thrilled and she's upset it took so long!!!! She's the greatest! read more

Lisa is an expert therapist and a very compassionate person. She has helped me with very difficult physical problems. I highly recommend her! read more

After getting into a car accident, my physical therapist recommended I try neuromuscular message. Because my back was recently fused from T3 to S1, there are not many professionals trained to work on a back like mine. Lisa was different. She understood the mechanics of my back and the pain associated with the surgery and the car accident. After just one visit I felt significantly better. (My pain level dropped from a 6 to a 4 on a scale 10.) I cannot say enough about Lisa other than to recommend her highly! read more

Amazingly talented healer!! I went to her with tingling in my neck that was diagnosed as a bulging disc in my neck turns out it was soft tissue and muscle issues from some old injuries. As a LIFELONG sufferer of massive tension headaches, migraines, jaw issues and neck pain, I have tried IT ALL!!!! From acupuncture, physical therapy, pain medications and injections and have never been able to get put of pain. Until Lisa!! I can not say enough about how incredible she is at what she does. From the first appt I had, I knew that there was a light at the end of the pain tunnel. Lisa was able to find the spots in my muscles that were causing my headaches and work on them, in order to release me from pain. She knows how the body works and how to fix issues that lead to pain! Lisa ROCKS and has saved me from the endless cycle of headaches! I would highly recommend her to anyone with any type of pain. She truly has done what no one else has been able to do. read more

Lisa is a magician! She knows what she's doing more Han some doctors I've seen. If you are not sure, you need to just book her! I have been seeing doctors for the past 4 years for the pain in my shoulder and back. It continued to get worse and I was just given medication, injections, physical therapy you name it. I told her my problem areas and concerns and she got right to work. Tested my hip alignments to narrow down my problem areas. She was able to find it right away. It happened to be a secondary pain area that she identified to be my main problem. 24 hours since I've seen her and I have had very little pain. I am continuing to see results each day with the take home exercises to continue. She is a godsend!! The only thing you have to loose is your pain!!!! She is so friendly and truly cares about your healing. Book an appt with her ASAP and start feeling better!! Love her! read more

Lisa is truly amazing. Before going to see her, I read her reviews on Yelp and they are all so accurate. For starters, she knows her stuff. I suffer from both chronic headaches and TMJ. Without disclosing this to Lisa, she brought it up simply by feeling my neck and jaw. She knew exactly what to do and where. On top of being an amazing therapist, she has an awesome personality and made me immediately comfortable. I feel like after going to several therapists, Lisa has been the light at the end of the tunnel. Upon completion of my appointment, I received thorough instructions on what to expect the following day along with an email checking in the day after my appointment. Lisa's technique approach and effectiveness deserve well beyond 5 stars. I will be back! read more

I can't recommend Lisa enough. If you have chronic pain, injuries, etc. this is the place to come. I am a regular massage goer but if I have a "real" issue I will go to Lisa. In 30 minutes she will get at the root of the issue and reactivate the muscles that have stopped working correctly. I think of it as my yearly tune up. I've even taken my 5 year old after a broken bone healed. He was favoring that side and I wanted to make sure this didn't become a chronic issue. She helped his muscles start firing again! read more

Lisa knows her stuff ... she accomplishes a lot in a short amount of time, has as super clear paradigm and really is recommended. Go see her! read more

Lisa is an amazing therapist and a lovely person. I've been having some chronic back and muscle issues, and plain massage therapy was getting me nowhere, but Lisa is a magician. I've seen her twice now, and she's done an awesome job finding and alleviating my pain. Highly recommended. read more

I had my first visit with Lisa after experiencing excruciating pain in my neck and shoulder due to a prior injury. I'm happy to say that the pain has gone down substantially. Other reasons for the 5 stars are the ease of making an appointment, the private office, and her attention to detail in the troublesome areas. I'm looking forward to scheduling a follow up. Thanks Lisa! read more

I hobbled into Lisa's office a few months ago assuming I'd never walk normally again. Bursitis reared its ugly head on my right hip and, after 2 months of physical therapy, they gave up on me. Lisa was recommended by a friend; I stopped in but with reticence. One hour later, I'd felt better than I had in 5 months! She's worked diligently with me to get me back to a normal gait without pain -- and I'm pesky. Not many folks would have put up with me. A combination of expertise, patience, empathy and due diligence, I'm "this" close to being back to where I was in December 2013. I have Lisa to thank for that -- she's a God-send!!!!!! You'd be crazy not to call her -- she's affordable and, unlike most other medical offices, doesn't have a 5-week waiting period! Do yourself a favor and call her -- she's changed my life! read more

Lisa is fantastic! She is hands down the most skilled massage therapist I've ever been to. I suffer from chronic migraines and she was, and continues to be, a lifesaver. I have tried many in the industry and Lisa is so far beyond anyone else I've been to. I always leave feeling like a new person and with no pain. She is so much more than your "typical" massage therapist. She has such advanced training and is so knowledgeable about the body and muscles. Plus her massage technique is amazing! Beyond migraines, her whole body massage always takes away any aches and pains anywhere in my body. On top of that, she is such a friendly lady that I truly enjoy seeing her. I would without a doubt recommend Lisa! read more
