Our children have been patients at two of the "top-rated" pediatricians as we've moved over the years--and this is the only practice where you're truly treated as a person, not just a number. If you're looking for speed and convenience, you can always go to an assembly-line pediatrician. But if you want a true care team--literally two doctors who will know your children by name, provide thoughtful and individualized treatment, and actually keep you informed--this is the place for you. When I first called, Anastasia let me know they're a smaller practice. So yes, I may wait on hold for a couple minutes while they're helping another patient--but I'll take that any day over the rushed, impersonal care we've experienced elsewhere. At the other offices, they'd order multiple bacterial infection tests based only on symptoms I described over the phone--without even seeing my children. That's not care--that's just billing insurance as quickly as possible. Sky Valley is the complete opposite. Here, they take the time to listen, assess thoughtfully, and treat your family like their own.

I had visited the Springfield Va Kaiser Permanente earlier the same day, although the drop off home location was verified via: voice they still had the incorrect drop off for my home address, although the address itself was correct the City was incorrect which caused the confusion and stressed me the hell out. The Drop off should had been: 8220 Russell Rd, Alexandria Va, the Uber dispatch put in 8220 Russell Rd, Fairfax, Va which the driver proceeded to take me, while at the time I had (Cataract issues) and was not able to notice that the area was unfamiliar to me until he had gotten close to the Woodbridge, Va Kaiser. After being so stressed that I had been heading in the wrong direction the entire time I had informed the driver that I do not live in Woodbridge and I was being taken to an area that was unknown to me. (Not his fault however) to make a long story shorter the driver decided since It was getting dark and I was unable to see at night that it was best for him to drop me back at the closest Kaiser that we were near which happens of course to be the Minniville location this doctor's appointment was to had been a round trip there and back, however after being dropped off I along with driver went into the clinic and the clinic to explainthe mix uup and "Tiffany" had been the person to deal with this mess (Poor Girl) however she handled my situation with such professionalism and contacted the Uber for me as I was to stressed to do it myself she even stated to me that if she was unable to get it corrected while on the phone with them that she would call me an Uber under her own account and simply pay for it (I didn't want that) however I had to get home. She talked with the Uber dispatch and explained the situation and how I had ended up at the Woodbridge location when we had just left the Springfield location once all was said and done I between the dispatch and miss Tiffany the results were that another Uber was on it's way to pick me back up with the correct destination input into their system. Although a very long review, I just want others to understand how "Tiffany Asiedu" had took a stressful situation (for me) and handled it with such professionalism and calmness that I wouldn't had expected to come from an employee at Kaiser, She gave me a whole new look about the company after this and now I even recommend the clinic to others for their outstanding staff and professionalism and that they go the extra mile for their patients. I work everyday and the office is closed on the weekends so it was very hard for me to call off and come in for an appointment. She ended up hanging up in my face and I was very disgusted by this because I'm the one paying to be treated and I get treated awfully. There is something wrong with the way you claim for annual visit billing. Don't make excuses when u claim it wrong to the insurance and don't even look into your process.

I have been coming to this practice for multiple decades now. I usually see Dr. Gallini , but the…read moredocs and other medical professionals who work here are good as well. As with most doctors, if you have somewhere to be, make your appointment for first thing in the morning or the last appointment of the day. Dr. Gallini likes to talk with his patients, which has the potential negative side effect of always running a bit behind schedule. But I'll take 10-15 minutes behind schedule over a doctor who rushes me through like a product on an assembly line. If you need to make a routine appointment (physical, etc.) call the office as early as possible. The schedule for routine appointments fills up REALLY quickly. It's pretty common to make a yearly physical appointment 2-3 months out. That being said, though, I have been able to get more urgent issues seen much more quickly (sometimes even the same day.) Plan ahead when you can and cross your fingers when you can't! ;o) The office staff is, largely, good. There are several of the office ladies who have been there for awhile and know what's going on. You'll figure out who they are pretty quickly. There are also several positions that change personnel regularly. This seems to be true at many doctor's offices. Just keep notes of who you talk to, date/time, etc. JUST IN CASE you run into issues and need to reference your contact. But I think that's just good practice in general. OVERALL: The fact that I have been coming to this practice since I was a small child and I now bring my own children here for medical care should speak volumes for what I think of these folks. They are good people who truly care about their patients.

I called because of chest pains and they refused me an appointment because they wanted me to pay $85 to them. They said they would waive it during my last call but today they again asked for the $85. No issue with the doctor but the office staff is sub-par and dealing with my medical records. Safe to say, I will not be going there again.

They didn't tell him this was going to happen and did not give us a heads up either. When he woke up he was really scared and said he never wants to go here again. I agree.
