My husband and I brought our Welsh Springer Spaniel to Dr. Newman in February 2022, our dog was in full epileptic seizure. Dr. Newman and his staff acted quickly, our dog was was given a Valium shot, to calm him, for examination. During his examination, Dr. Newman, noticed a smell in both ears and saw an severe ear issues that needed to be addressed as soon as we controlled the seizures. Our dog was put on Phenobarbital, daily and the following week we brought him back to address the ears. Dr. Newman at this time dis a culture of both ears and within a few days we received the best call we could hear, he said they identified the bacteria and he now knows how to treat at home with the proper medication. Our dog has been suffering with this condition for at least 3 years, we have taken him to numerous Veterinarians, who treated this condition with numerous medications. With only temporary relief of the situation. Now all most one month later and our family pet, is still clean of any infection. We know we will have to keep an eye on it, but now we also know if it comes back, we know how to treat it. Thank you Dr. Newman and also to your staff, also I would like to say Sue, the office manager is a very polite, understanding and professional person .
