Nice little pub with solid menu and very inviting local crowd. We were lucky to be there for the dart tournament night, so there was some entertainment after dinner. Gerry, the owner, was also happy to show us to a great little hike along the seashore, about 5 minutes away, which we were happy to take on after dinner in order to earn a couple more pints for dessert.
I had the smoked fish and chips special, which they didn't usually have. Good HUGE cut of fresh fish with a strong smoked flavor. Patti had the steak pie special, also good classic pub fare. Everyone was very friendly and Scott was a great barkeep - entertained all of my questions and had some good recommendations. read more
