I love going to this studio. When I first attended a class at Moksha Kelowna, I was introduced to…read morethe owner, Trish. The second time I went, I was greeted and hugged by Trish again. There I felt the family atmosphere at Moksha. The staff are the GEM of this studio. They're very knowledgable and always keen to correcting and adjusting my poses. They always offer alternative poses which are very essential to accommodating all type of practices. And with all this being said, I signed up for a membership right after my introductory promotion. No questions asked. As per the parking, there's limited privileged parking space for patrons, but I rarely ever have to go on paid parking. The studio is super CLEAN. The men's locker and shower is superb and is always cleaned up after a class.

I went to this yoga place for only a month. It is very spacious and has numerous classes. I liked…read moresome of the instructors verrry much. Susie was great! She was present, constantly made contact with students and corrected my poses. Other instructors rarely made that contact. The problem with this studio is that it is supeerrrrr crowded and ur neighbor is 2 cm away from you. Besides, their ventilation is not good making classes smell like sweat. The prices are relatively high, but the changing rooms are clean and modern. I also like that they have mat hangers for after the class. They don't offer wet towels after classes (which is not entirely a bad thing, considering bacteria growth on those towels if not properly cleaned) and the average age of people coming to this class is not as low as many other classes Ive been to. Overall it is a decent class with good qualities. The reason why I didn't continue was mainly the ventilation. UPDATE: I should mention that apparently they have changed the ventilation system and the problem is solved now. Their customer service is superb!

I've been to a couple of yoga and hot yoga studios during my stint in Kelowna and I automatically…read moreliked this one. A) the temperature isn't as hot as the other studios. This is helpful for me because I like to go for a long workout before my yoga classes. The last thing I want is to stroke out lol B) They have very reasonable prices. Keep your eyes open for any pass sales. The community classes are on Friday or Saturdays depending on their schedule and it costs $7. C) there is a very positive vibe and they don't take themselves too seriously. There are all types of levels of skills and I never felt intimidated about not knowing how to do a pose. D) the music is fun. I'm not a serious yogi so listening to chants or enya for a full hour does not help me concentrate. The playlists are contemporary (lots of indie music) and are put together by the instructor. E) they have a great social media presence so I would check out their Facebook page to learn more about what they're up to. They are very active in the community so you can learn a lot about what's going on and get involved. F) favourite classes for me are the Power and 50/50 class. I don't have one I avoid. They're all great.

I bid on 20 classes at Hot Box in a silent auction for a community fundraiser . It was valued at…read more$250 and I ended up being the final bidder at $225 I was then told by Sara the owner that it was not a donation but a promotion . The 20 cards ended up being free class cards meant to be handed out individualy to promote the studio to new clients not to help raise money in the auction. In good faith seeing as how this was an item which did in fact raise $225 in funds for a very worthy cause, it's unfortunate they would not consider allowing me to attend a few classes or even offer a discount towards a membership. Surely my attendance at more than one class would not cause any disruption and seeing as classes and instructors are already in place the studio would not be out of pocket by having me attend at least a few classes. The response was very shocking and disappointing to say the least.
