I lost hope that it could be fixed after having been told by another local company that they couldn't fix it. My wife dropped it at Computer Brilliance after work one evening. One of the guys there stayed late to meet her. They had no doubt they could fix it. Less than a week later, it is ready to go with no loss of data! I've used them in the past and was satisfied. Recently though I took my computer in and they…read moreupdated what I needed but broke something else. The manager (Derek) gave me a bunch of stories and even lied to me saying that he saw them (the technician) unbox my computer ... but that wasn't true the technician unboxed the computer in the store with me present and I took the box home. I was hoping they could save me time. In the end it cost me more time and money. The manager did offer a 'compromise' for me to pay for the parts (~$400). Ultimately I ordered the part they broke (which cost me $47 not even close to his price) and fixed it myself. I won't be giving them any more business.

I took a laptop in for a routine repair. They opened it, at one point using a utility knife,…read moreseemingly damaged a battery connection as well as definitely knocked a power lead off the wifi chip, requiring me to open it again to plug it back in, and to their credit, did fix the problem. However, by this point my laptop was suffering from a new problem that they seemed to have caused. I called them on the phone to ask how they wanted to proceed. I was extremely diplomatic and repeatedly emphasized that I wasn't interested in blaming them. The man on the phone, who had worked on my laptop, was flippant, claiming he had not opened my laptop until I told him I had literally watched him do it. He said that he didn't believe he had caused my problem and also that no one in Mississippi could fix it, so I might as well buy a new computer. He did not make any apologies or try to make it right in any way, and flippantly told me that I could blame him if I wanted to. I felt disrespected and I definitely think the quality of their handling is sub-par, even if the initial problem was fixed. Furthermore my laptop was a Lenovo, and they represent themselves as a Lenovo dealer, despite acting like my recent, expensive Lenovo laptop was trash and I should just buy a new one off the bat. I had to tell him it wasn't paid off before he would even look at it. Lenovo's support department refused to field my complaint without me essentially sending them the laptop, so I have no recourse. One star.

Now​​ over here real quick and are in the process of updating and upgrading us, we couldn't be happier.. from the first phone call when I spoke to them yesterday they went above and beyond, you can't go wrong with these hard-working people.
