Then he reviewed and fixed the appraisal which took close to 5 days. THEN he left off the attic space in the appraisal and wants to charge the buyer $175 to pay for his mistake!!!! After already charging $600 for the appraisal. This is absolutely ridiculous to charge a buyer for his error. The seller showed him the attic space but he chose not to look in it. I would recommend NOT using this appraiser.

Then when it was challenged (wrong lay out, not correct measurements, # of bathrooms, comparisons that were in a poor neighborhood in an entirely different parish, etc.), the appraiser refused to to admit he was wrong and stood by his poor appraisal. I even provided correct comparisons (similar sq ft, rooms, SAME PARISH, etc) but he stood by his poor work.
