My experience with NerdsRUs was amazing. Max was so kind and funny. I took my laptop in because it wasn't holding a charge, it would overheat, and it would scream at me anytime I tried to use it... He was so kind and kept me updated with everything that was going on with my laptop. He replaced the Fan and Battery as well as removed all the viruses I had. He reassured me the viruses were not from anything bad which was comforting. The pricing for everything he did for me was less than what I was expecting which was really nice. They charged me an outrageous fee, $240.00 to simply transfer data from one portable hard drive to another. 4 hours of labor to hook up 2 drives and press a transfer button. Maybe they had to watch it transfer? They took full advantage of my lack of computer knowledge and gouged me. Maybe 20 min of actual labor then wait for the transfer to complete cost me $60.00 an hour fo 4 hours. Never again will use this business. If you get 60 an hour, why hurry. read more

They did fix my laptop. However, they did not do all that was discussed. And, they told me it would be ready by a certain date, then missed it by 8 days - they had to take care of another customer. If this was the case they ought to have had the personal & business integrity or acumen to call me to tell me this rather than give me a bad surprise when I went to pick it up. read more

I am beside myself and want to vent ... Last December my son spenser.young@usmc.mil gave me his Alienware laptop. I was so excited, it was perfect for me and my budding photography business. Since it is made for gaming, it has all the storage and graphics and is perfect for a photographer. The screen stopped working so Billy and I looked up replacement for this and a used one was $3000.00. We decided to get repaired. Our brother Kenneth hooked it up and the only thing wrong was the screen. We checked around town and ended up taking it to NERDSRUS on Main St 541-850-9543. Haywood assured us that he had just had 2 in the shop the month prior and he new these computers no problem. Now 8 months later we still do not have our computer and they are not calling us back. Took my son's computer to Nerds after having it just sit at another computer store in town for over a month to replace the fan. Over a month later at Nerds, I still didn't have a fan and I was told that my computer came to them pretty busted up. Huh? It wasn't busted up on the outside so I assumed the first place had done damage on the inside. When Nerds brought me the computer they thought was mine.....it was NOT mine. After almost a month and a half, I was invited to the work area and together we found my computer on the bottom of a pile, untouched. HOWEVER...Mac did what a store owner could and SHOULD do under these circumstances. He gave my son a brand new computer so he'd have one to take back to college with him AND gave us an external fan for the old computer, free of charge. Making a bad situation right.
