The tower for the new zip line ride being constructed on Fremont Street.
    Norm K.

I'm going to agree with Oscar and give Neonopolis 4 stars for what it's becoming rather than for what it is now. The place is no longer on life support and it shows many signs of life and the future looks brighter from the past years when a few restaurants and shops opened and quickly closed for lack of business. Telemundo coming and renting a good portion of the area for its studios was a boost. The new Denny's is certainly a boost. There is a new bar, Drink and Drag, that garners good reviews from the Yelp crew. Finally, the new zip line ride is being constructed right in the middle of the place. All these things point to renewed hope for the concept which never really made a go until now. This morning, I had breakfast at the new Denny's. I parked in the underground garage which is very, very handy! One flight of stairs to walk up and I was there. I was surprised when I got to the booth that there was no charge for the parking. Their website says free parking with validation but Denny's doesn't validate. Perhaps it was because I was less than an hour and it was a weekday morning. Whatever the case, it was a nice bonus. We are so spoiled by the free parking common in Las Vegas. I'll make a point of coming here more often. I want to ride the new zip line when it's done. Seems like it would make a good UYE.

I stayed at the Fremont Hotel during my Vegas trip recently. I decided to take a walk down the Fremont Street Experience heading eastbound and noticed a Denny's Restaurant and the International Eatery Food Court. I walked around the lower level and noticed a few stores. There was a tattoo parlor, Toy Shack, American Sports Trading Cards, Celestial Comics, a e-vapor lounge, a Mediterranean restaurant, the Heart Attack Grill, and there was a stage area. The second floor consisted of the Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Arts, the main office for the Neonopolis building, a bowling lane which is opened after 5pm, a office for architecture design, as well as several empty store fronts. There was a third level heading towards the theaters but it was blocked off. Parking is located underground for customers. Right in the middle of Fremont Street and in front of the International Eatery food court and Walgreens is also the beginning for Slotzilla Zip line. The adventurous individuals can choose one of two rides. The first one is a short ride that stops in front of Fremont Hotel. The longer ride continues on towards the west end of Fremont Street Experience. Hopefully in the near future there will be more stores added to the Neonopolis shopping center.

This place is full of shoppes, restaurants, and eclectic venues. A new cannabis museum just opened in here as well. It has private parking garage too, with reasonable prices. Area was very clean and kept. It is at the beginning of the Fremont Experience.

I second Nijole T.'s review for the LV NORTH Premium Outlets…read more This outlet store is way better than the SOUTH location. Easy Parking. However ... paying $5.00 for parking no matter what I find extremely off-putting. The Simon Shops Network wants you to come to their outlets and empty your wallet ... but they insist on charging you $5.00 no matter how long you're there ? That's insulting. This location has a good mix of low end, mid and high end shops. Good variety. Well Done. I wanted to go to the Converse Store, Sketchers & Vans ... however ... I didn't find any shoes that fit my criteria. I'm looking for ultra light, low flat sole , comfortable walking shoes .... I don't see anything like this in stores only online.. . Also ... I wasn't planning on buying anything but Vercini sucked me into their store with their flashy displays ... this store sells clothing that suits my friend Jason L. To A "Tee". Those glittery club driven shirts, tops and T's is signature Las Vegas party scene ... and although most people probably wouldn't look good in this clothing ... it actually looks great on him ... It was a fun day and I enjoyed my shopping experience even tho the $5.00 parking is "no bueno" in my book.

You have to be extra great at parking garage parking. I get to park for free because I'm a local but I don't agree that non-locals should pay $5. to park at a mall. Today I saw THREE escalators that were closed and not turned on with "Caution Tape or Signs" around them. The first one I noticed is the main one on the second level that gets you from the garage over the traffic to the mall. Then I saw two others that were down and also at least one elevator. We had a dangerous walk to get to the mall because of this. Also a dangerous walk back to get to the parking garage. Other than that- What's here are very high end mostly women's clothes and woman's accessories. High end watches, at least one menswear shop with a Alice Cooper and Kiss theme inside. Casual food choices and a few chains. Maybe one ramen shop. To bad about Sachs off the Fifth. They just announced all their stores are closing. This location is over half empty already. On the bright side I did get a much needed shiny new purse.

Then as my children were growing up we gathered at the mall too. Then the stimulation of the mall went away. The stores had nothing new and fresh. Now after visiting the mall in the last year, Fashion show has started to become different and offer more opportunities to have fun with those around you . They inspire one's imagination with small road trip displays that drag your imagination into perspective. Did you know that you can visit the North Pole? Right from Vegas? Even see Santa? An individual can even phone Santa from a playful private pay phone. No quarters needed! The possibilities here at Fashion Show are unbelievable. Take photo by the tree. The reindeer were unable for this trip. After all that fun at the North Pole, what did you truly come for? What are you looking for you will find it here? They offer the major stores: Neiman, Saks, Nordstrom's, and Macys for all those fabulous designer items. If it's that turquoise box your seeking Tiffany's is here too. They even have new toys stores to keep the little ones busy. Come and build that new magical friend at Build A Bear and enchant it and bring it to life with your magic. It's a beautiful enchanting experience for the whole family, no matter what your age. After all that shopping and having fun it's time to grab a bite to eat. Let's decide where to eat there are so many epic places and options. You can have things like pizza or choose to eat higher class. The choices are endless . Parking here can be a nightmare, but there are quite a few parking spaces. Even if it's super busy, I can always find a spot, even if it means I have to walk a bit farther than I wanted. I like Town Square mostly for the food options. The Yard House here was the only one in town for a while and we loved to go here as a family and there were quite a few work excursions that happened here. We used to go to a bar close to this area too, where they did a lot of industry nights. There are still some really good food and bar options here today. The shopping is pretty good. There are stores here that you might not be able to find in other areas of town. I'm not a big shopper but you can also just window shop like I do, especially if you've just had a big meal and need to do a little La Passeggiata. Some of the shops are expensive, some are not, so there's really something for anyone's budget. I've noticed this place stays pretty clean and there are a good amount of people working to keep it that way. I appreciate that very much.

The information booth is well positioned and generally helpful, although I was surprised they couldn't direct me to something as simple as a fresh green drink. I later found what I was looking for at True Food Kitchen, which seems like a fairly obvious recommendation in a center like this. My one real issue is the sheer size of the property. It's expansive... more of a campus than a traditional shopping center. What starts off as a pleasant stroll can quickly turn into a long trek, especially if you're not prepared. Comfortable shoes are not optional here. By the end of it, I found myself more tired than I expected.
