The comedians that won, were the ones that were vulgar and not funny at all. You can tell the contest was fixed. don't waste your time or money at this club. It is so old and it smells. You can find a better club elsewhere!

We were encouraged to bring our own drinks (alcohol or otherwise). The tour covered much of downtown and provided some history with a comedian as the tour guide. We also had some good laughs. Truth be told the tour is very much focused on drinking. Half way through the tour we stopped at a bar and were able to bring drinks back on the bus. Seating was comfortable and it was nice to see an old school bus put to good use. On a nice day the tour is a good way to see the city.

My wife and enjoy going to the comedy shows at home. So we decided to see comedy show while on…read morevacation. The Hilarious got good reviews, looked to have a good line up, and close by downtown. I got tickets and walked over to the club. There is a restaurant and bar at the street level, and 2 comedy club rooms down stairs. We checked in, walked down the stairs to be escorted to our seats. Our server took our order, as the club has a good drink and food menu including some very good desserts. The show got going and it was interesting to see 1st hand a mixed crowd response to some good funny jokes. At our local comedy club comedians would tell a joke, and then tell us how the audience will respond in another city. Myah was our server, and very good and personable in taking care of our orders. After the show we met the comedians and talked with them. They appreciated hearing some good positive feedback on the show and their jokes. We will be watching for these comedians in the future. Hilarious is well a return visit when we are in town.

I've come here a total of 4x and had tons of fun each time. I've sat downstairs and upstairs and probably enjoyed the Loge seating more. The menu selection and food here is not bad. The lights are cut off and it's impossible to order or see or eat your food though once the show starts. We needed to use the flashlight app on our phones to see but was told off for using our phones...okay, guess I won't order then. The venue is smaller and good for intimate settings. I found it to be quite romantic on dates but also private and pleasant enough on a girls' night! What I don't like about Hilarities is that they don't just send you etickets or any tickets to print. You have to show up before the show to line up, present your ID to pick up the physical tickets. Then I think they should not be able to charge you the processing fee and whatever upcharge it is to send your ticket because you are already doing the work to go in person. This is especially onerous if you are buying for a large group of people and forces you to all meet at the same time.

Since last night was so chilly, it was great to bypass the long line waiting to get inside the main dining room. Once inside the club, you are seated at long communal tables. I thought the interior was decorated warm and cozy with murals and old portraits decorating the walls. Truly a beautiful room. I loved that the full Hofbrauhaus menu is available in the club. You can enjoy the same food and beer as the main dining room and you don't have to wait in the long line! We ordered a variety of food: appetizer sampler, soup, perch & perogies, corned beef sandwich and a wurstplatte. Everything tasted fresh, hot and homemade. Beer was nice and cold. The service was very good. The comedy acts were enjoyable. The club has shows on Friday and Saturday nights. TIp: Go to the website and sign up to win tickets. The service was okay. That was the best part of the evening. The MC was vulgar. The seats felt extremely uncomfortable just midway through the night.
