The attention to detail and level of care the owner has put into every aspect of this business is truly outstanding. I've been tanned by Jordan, Julie, Kate, Karen -- honestly, probably every artist there -- and I consistently walk out with the perfect tan, no matter who sprays me. Their hours are fantastic, especially for those of us working 12-hour shifts who need evening appointments. And my biggest pet peeve with airbrush tans -- feeling wet or sticky afterward -- doesn't exist here. Their drying system and the powder they apply post-tan are lightyears ahead of anything I've experienced elsewhere. They even once walked me to my car with an umbrella -- when it was raining -- just to protect my tan. That's the level of care they show every client. A few friends of mine recommended Power Tan, and their reviews online were the best in the area. So, I gave it a try. When I walked in, I met the gal at the front desk: Martha. What a sweetheart she is (!), and knowledgable about their equipment and why they stand out over their competitors a block down the street. She did recommend the monthly and VIP tanning packages and explained why spending more money would actually save me money in the long run. But, I'm not one who wants to have dark skin like I did when I was younger. I just like the relaxation of tanning and hope it will help control my eczema. Martha never tried to power sell me or push any fancy lotions on me. She respected my wishes and helped me find the best package for my needs. She answered all of my questions and was patient with me, and I got a free tan for my first time! I bought a month package online because I was going to cancun and did not want to be pale. I was a…read morelittle skeptical about going because of the reviews that I have read. I've never been tanning before either. When I got there the lady at the front desk took my info and explained to me about the beds. She suggested to go up to another bed which was only a $10 difference. I also figured I would just buy tanning lotion at the salon too. She went over about the lotions and since I have tattoos I went with jwoww. We then proceeded to the room and she explained everything to me on what to do. I was going about every other day. Everytime I went in, the front desk person was nice. I had a great experience and when my month was up, I talked with the front desk person about how I saw reviews about not going up in time, she explained it's because the owner doesn't want you to burn. Now that I am back from cancun and pretty tan, I might start go back and buy a tanning package to keep my tan! Everyone that works there is super nice also.
