I was hospitalized and when I was released Kaiser sent me a Neogen nurse to take care of my post-op needs. I was so fortunate that I got Jeanie as my home health nurse. She communicated clearly when she would arrive and arrived at the time promised. She showed so much compassion, care, and professionalism during her visits. She sent messages to my doctor about my condition and asked for alternatives to a medication I was prescribed because it made me feel terrible. I couldn't have asked for a better nurse! I wholeheartedly recommend Jeanie and Neogen for your home healthcare needs. read more

If I could give this agency 0 stars I would! I was referred from Kaiser for this home health & it has been the worst care I've ever received. I'm recently going through post op complications from a c section that resulted in me needing home health visits. My very 1st visit was horrible, the nurse Teresa said she was going to come around 4-5pm. I waited for 2 hours & figured she wasn't coming anymore since I had no updates from her. I fall asleep with my newborn & all of a sudden she shows up at 8pm at night!! I decided to let her do the visit since she was alrdy here but she ends up doing a sh*t job on my wound vac and packed my wound so much that I had pain to the point I couldn't sleep. Had to have my mother who is a nurse fix it. I told the agency 4 times to not send her ever again! They kept trying to send her after I said no. They then finally sent a different nurse named Eva she did very great but I was only treated by her for about a week. After that I was not seen by anyone or reached out to for 2 weeks! By then I had my appt with Kaiser and told them to cancel my home health. Oh and get this the pestering is not over yet! After my home health being canceled for a week, the agency has that same lady Teresa come to my house once again unannounced no phone calls at all from her or the agency to tell me to appeal the cancellation to start being seen again. I declined. Then 2 days later I received a call from a registered nurse that works for the agency saying that they want him to come do a visit same day I'm genuinely confused as my home health has been canceled why is the agency trying to have me seen so bad after not being seen for 3 weeks??? Please stay away from this weird a** agency read more

They prefer to come spare of the moment instead of keeping scheduled appointments. They don't return phone calls. They want you to sign blind electronic form and never follow up with hard copies. They deliver equipment you did not order. Very poor customer service. read more

Only had the chance to work with two people from this company, but Nurse Chris and Physical Therapist Chie were so wonderful with my mother, and took a lot of worry off my shoulders. I'm only sorry our insurance shifted to another company. In addition, the office personnel were especially helpful in trying to hammer out a schedule and answering all my questions. read more

Grace Shin, RN, has been my wound nurse for a large scalp cancer wound post-surgery since April 2025. She has looked after me with exceptional kindness and devotion. She changes my dressing three times a week. Not only is she thorough and dedicated, but she does her utmost to clean and dress my wound while I am undergoing immunotherapy for the cancer keeping in mind the pain level. Fortunately, the wound is shrinking. She always keeps me informed of progress, with caring and a wonderful sense of humor which makes the process much easier to withstand. I enjoyed working with Chris. He was good company. We got a lot done in a short time. I'll miss his visits, but am able to continue with the resistance band exercises with no further assistance. P.S. I have read that one of the most in-demand professions in the coming "Age of A.I." will be home healthcare workers. With the huge Baby Boomer cohort just beginning to move into the years of increasing medical needs, there will be an increasing need for humans who can do what robots can't. Specifically, be human... My husband's care team was wonderful from the very beginning. The nurse, Maria, was caring and compassionate. She always took her time and we never felt rushed. The speech therapist made a huge difference in my husband's swallowing. ConCon attended many dinners with us so he could observe the swallow and coach my husband in how to swallow more safely. Victoria Jaramillo is an excellent PT and an OT combined into one. The first PT I had was very good but could not help me with my OT needs. The 2 OTs that were assigned to me really did not meet my needs. On the other hand, Victoria has been a god send in moving me along with my progress back (from trauma induced leg surgery) to assisted independence. She is patient, encouraging, joyful, and yet firm in her directions. We have been practicing car transfers and moving up and down the ramp into my home. With three more weeks of OT and PT practice with Victoria, I will be ready to be discharged from Neogen. Neogen and Kaiser patients like me should be thrilled and grateful to have her as our therapist. read more

Worst company! I still have not spoken with the admin Anju after asking several times and staff assuring me that she will contact me. It's been two months! In addition, supervisor Iris texted she would call to give me information about why services were declined and it's been a week and no call. So far our experience has been less than ideal. My husband had bypass surgery and Kaiser is using this company to have a nurse come check in on him. Two different nurses called me to do the initial evaluation. Each nurse called and wanted to come the same day--I scheduled for the following day. Another nurse has been assigned to start next week--at least that was what I was told when I called Neogen this morning. A social worker called me to schedule a time on Monday, but when I called and spoke to Kaiser Home Hospital they had not asked for a social worker. I had to call Neogen again and ask who requested the social worker. Apparently that would be the nurse who came yesterday, but they have no record as to why? They will need to "get back to me." I was also told that a nurse was coming tomorrow, to which I replied, "no, she's not. We've not scheduled a time." This feels like a company that is trying to scam medicare. read more

Extremely Poor Service - Neogen is Unreliable and Unprofessional I would strongly advise against using Neogen for Home Health services. They are by far the worst company I've encountered in this industry. Despite being based overseas, they seem to rely on third-party contractors for home visits, which results in a lack of coordination and serious delays. When my mom was sent home from the hospital, it took Neogen over two weeks to send someone for a simple visit. Then, after that, it took an additional three weeks for them to arrange a physical therapy session. Now, nearly a month later, I receive a call from a social worker who wants to assess her--by that point, my mom had already recovered and was back to being healthy. This kind of service is unacceptable, especially for something as crucial as healthcare. The lack of communication, delays, and overall poor management make me believe they shouldn't even be in business. I will not be recommending Neogen to anyone and would suggest looking elsewhere for more reliable and timely care. read more

Compete disaster working with this agency. Referred by Kaiser, from that point on nothing but excuse, delays, and lack of concern. Was initially told an assessment nurse would be at our home within 48 hours, it is now 1 week later and still no home nurse. Phone calls repeatedly to agency do not result in any action. I was told upon discharge I would need PT/OT to continue progress, this could not be scheduled until assessment was complete. Additionally. Some wounds have gone without treatment. If you are looking for quality home health care, look for another agency! read more

Right after my surgery, Kaiser was very responsive and got a nurse right away to come to my house. If we could give this company a "0" we would! They don't confirm appointments, you wait over a week for an evaluation. Follow ups. call backs, future appointments are non existent. Handouts with specific instructions on exercises are non existent, they say they "email" them but don't. Handbooks are to be provided but aren't. Skill set for working with Alzheimer patients is lacking. We have had many Home Care Providers over the last 20 years that have been excellent, I would never recommend this company to anyone seeking home health care for a family member. read more

My mother is receiving excellent care from the whole Neogen Care Team. They are one of the reasons why my mother is recovering. She was very delicate when released from the hospital and we were expecting to go on hospice in few days, weeks. Its been 2 months and my mother is recovering and is getting out bed and starting to do day to day activities. Connie our Nurse, is very caring and skilled. Always willing to help us! James our PT always very encouraging and gentle. Sunny our OT, also encouraging and helping us do the next step. Neogen's biggest strength is the caliber of people they hire! Every single therapist (PT, OT, RN, ST) sent to our home has been caring and understanding, explaining the core principles beneath the issues to be worked on. PTs Jason and Nathan and OT Adam told us the reason for each exercise and what it was to accomplish. They've given us the tools to support the therapy between visits. RN Alicia felt like part of the family at her first visit and I've even learned to dress wounds effectively, not really a skill I wanted. And of course Muna is the glue that holds all of this together. She's a terrific and effective problem solver. To a person they have communicated well, in person and using text or phone. They've all showed up on time or texted to update us. No one wants to need home healthcare. We are in Southern California and dealt with two other agencies for a different family member in the past few years. They didn't hold a candle to Neogen. read more

My dad recently had surgery and was sent home with over a week's worth of infusion bags to treat an infection. I had some trouble figuring the whole system out and before I knew it, a nurse named Melissa Reilly called us and reassured me that she would be coming to the house to help with my dad for the week. Not only was Melissa extremely knowledgeable and professional, she was so patient and nurturing with my dad. He loved her sense of humor and ability to put us all at ease with the situation. Melissa also checked in with me several times a day and was THE most conscientious about making sure his doses were correct and his machine was working properly. She was also very adamant about making sure his IV was clean and healthy looking. Neogen sent an angel to our house that week. We were definitely blessed with having Melissa as his nurse. We had 2 nurses Mindy and Ish, once the paperwork was done, they were ON, my husband had an open wound about 4inches deep, so it was completely packed and it was painful. The nurses were amazingly so careful and knowledgeable, my husband was extremely happy with their work. They trained me in case I needed to change the packing and thank God they teach me. They always call before arriving and they are very punctual, always using masks and maintaining distance with me, except when they were changing the packing. Great Care and professionalism read more
