Max picked me up in Burbank, loaded my luggage and it was the most comfortable drive and experience. I came out to help my sister who has cancer and had Max take her to the cancer center and take the kids to school after I left; to help them out. The kids loved their Luxury drop off at school, and she said what a super nice guy Max is. I will be calling him when I head back to CA. If I could give 10 stars I would! Our driver, John, was revealing identities and residence locations of other clients within the company as though it were casual conversation on the drive. We were uncomfortable hearing private information including locations of other clients and tried to redirect the conversation. John repeatedly cut us off while talking, multiple times, to continue discussing details about other clients of the company. He also told us we caught him on a good day and that was why he was carrying our luggage out of the vehicle and off the curb. John was casually disrespectful by interrupting our private conversation as well only to discuss what was interesting to him, and even when we responded, he ignored us and continued talking in a manner than seemed only to amuse himself. A quiet and professional drive is what we had hoped for. John's insistence about revealing other clients' identities among other details, along with being very casual to interrupt our private discussions with random thoughts that would come into his head made us feel differently about In Style. When we arrived at baggage claim our driver was not there and when called we learned that he had gone to the international terminal and not terminal 4. As our flight was coming in from Dallas I have no idea why he was at the international terminal. Despite having paid the meet and greet fee my husband and I had to wait outside by the curb in the passenger pickup Lane. The meet and greet service was essential as my husband was dealing with multiple bags and I am currently on a walker. We requested a refund of the meet and greet fee base cost only, and not the total amount with the additional 20% gratuity and taxes, and SoCal has refused to return those funds as of this posting. This is clearly a breach of contract and I'm assuming bait and switch as our arrival terminal at LAX never changed and there was no reason for the driver to go to the international terminal. Buyer beware in this instance. However, the driver was very good and the car was very clean. Unfortunately I can't give the driver a separate review here.
