I had my front bumper repainted at Neo Autoworks in San Jose for about $700. Roughly one year later, the paint began bubbling and peeling, which is obviously not the quality of work I expected. When I contacted the shop to ask about the warranty I was told the repair came with, they refused to honor it. Their explanation was that the employee I worked with is no longer with the company and allegedly failed to file the proper paperwork. That employee had offered me a small discount if I paid via cash or Venmo instead of credit card. Neo Autoworks used that as the reason to deny any warranty coverage, even though the work was performed at their shop by their employee. I spoke with Cameron, who manages the shop, in an effort to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the shop took zero responsibility for the poor workmanship and for the actions of their former employee. As a result, I am out $700 and have wasted a significant amount of time trying to get them to stand behind their work. Based on my experience, Neo Autoworks was unprofessional and unwilling to honor the warranty they represented. I would not recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality work and reliable customer service. read more

Highly recommend NEO Autoworks! Oscar is sincerely a dream to work with. On a Thursday I hit a curb with my right front tire. There was a Chassis warning light, the steering wheel was off center, the blinker would not turn off and the steering wheel pulled hard to the right when driving. I took it to the dealership I have used with my last 3 cars Stevens Creek BMW. The advisor took it in and told me there would be a charge for the inspection. The next day I finally received a brief description that there was damage to the front passenger side of the car. No itemized parts, labor nothing just $12,096.22 to repair whatever damage they found. The picture they provided told me nothing. WHAT? My car is totaled? It is a 2014 BMW 328I with no body damage and only 72K miles. Still is is not worth much more than 14K so I presumed my car was totaled. I was beside myself with the news and thought I would just leave it with the dealer and have the insurance total it. Before the end of the day Friday something told me to go get my car so I did. I spent the week end looking at new vehicles thinking mine was not able to be repaired. On Monday I took a chance and drove my car to NEO Autoworks for an estimate. Guess what? They showed me clear pictures of the damage, named the parts and the labor costs and had it fixed within hours of receiving the part for only $678.37. I picked it up and have been driving it and there is not a trace of the issues anywhere. Thank goodness for honest companies that do good work! I did some good damage to my side mirror on my Optima. I walked into Hardcastle on my way to target randomly just to get an estimate of how much the repairs would cost. Dave came out to my car to assess the damage, and I had an estimate in less than 5 minutes! He even went the extra mile and quoted me the price for the part directly from the manufacturer, and the after market price as well. Without any pressure, he just told me to call if and when I was ready to have the mirror fixed and they would order the part that was needed (as it was not on hand). I called on a Thursday, brought my car in on a Tuesday morning, and they had it fixed for me within the hour! They work next to each other and my family has been loyal customers for about 10 years because they have been loyal to us with service. I researched both online and in person to talk to each autobody shop. My car, like for most people, is extraordinarily important to my life survival. I take this seriously. First off- Hardcastle garage is Clean, Organized, and well...like a well oiled machine. Every person that works there is very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. They speak clearly and honestly. I honestly didn't care how long it would take as long as it was done right, and that my car would look nice but also be safe to drive. They had it done before I even missed it, but long enough that I know it was done with care. They explained everything to me and checked in with me as it progressed. My car looks better than I remember and the paint job and repairs are impeccable. I even paid for them to change out my headlights after my accident repair was handled by insurance because I knew they would be the best at it.
