I recently saw Dr. Cohen for removal of a tooth with bone grafting and preparation for an implant…read more I have seen Dr. Cohen in the past many times over the years for the same procedure because I trust him thoroughly and he is the best oral surgeon anywhere. He is very knowledgable, skilled and an expert in his field. He is caring, friendly and efficient and makes the procedure seamless. My son was treated by him many years ago for removal of his wisdom teeth also and had a great outcome.

He did oral surgery a couple of weeks after the consultation. I have no complaints about his work. Today I called his office for a new concern my dentist has & the person who answered the phone almost immediately said "he does not take insurance". I was still willing to make an appointment but she was not interested. She told me to find someone in my network & corrected me because I used the word "dentist" when I referred to Dr. Cohen. I also used the word "doctor" many times in our conversation, so I made a mistake. Forgive me! The possibility of surgery is scary enough. I don't need a rude receptionist. Dr. Cohen should consider changes in his staff.

I'm 66 and have had a few lifts in the past with different doctors over the years, so I was understandably hesitant about having more work done. But as someone who spends a lot of time on stage, I knew I wasn't happy with the changes I was seeing in my face. From the moment I had my consultation with him, I knew I had found the right surgeon. He listened carefully to what I wanted -- tightening my jowl area without looking pulled or overdone. My goal was to still look like myself, just refreshed... and that's exactly what he achieved. He went over and beyond my expectations. He has a wonderfully warm personality, and his office assistant/nurse Chris is lovely. I highly recommend him -- especially if you've had prior facial work and want peace of mind knowing you're in skilled, thoughtful hands.

I am eternally grateful to have been under Dr. Rafidazeh's care through my Single Stage Mastectomy…read more- Direct to Implant Reconstruction surgery. He is truly a kind and compassionate provider. After initially consulting with other surgeons, I researched and discovered the direct-to-implant surgery approach in which the cancerous breast is removed and reconstructed with an implant during the same surgery. I found Dr. Rafizadeh online and learned that he is a pioneering surgeon behind this specific surgery. He was also highly recommended by the Surgical Oncologist who did my Mastectomy (Dr. William Diehl). If you need a Mastectomy and want a new breast, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend having a Single Stage Mastectomy - Direct to Implant Reconstruction done by Dr. Farhad Rafizadeh and Surgical Oncologist Dr. William Diehl. (He and Dr. Diehl have worked together for years and are both such kind and thorough doctors). I relocated from Nashville to Jersey to be under their care and it is now two months after from my Mastectomy and I have zero pain, no lymphedema, no rehab needed, and a gorgeous breast that I feel great about. It was HUGE to be able to go through this process without losing touch with my femininity. Cancer had already spread to my nipple, so I was not able to do a nipple-sparing Mastectomy as I had hoped. Dr. Rafizadeh will construct a nipple mound and nipple in my second surgery. Dr. Rafidazeh is a true artist (literally. He paints too), and I appreciate how attentive he meticulously he approached my breast reconstruction. I highly recommend him and will never go to a different surgeon. His office staff is equally as kind and compassionate and that went a LONG way during my Cancer journey. (33 y.o. African American young woman)

My relative spilled her bedpan as she was trying to put it on the table and was left in a urine soaked gown for over two hours after asking for help. She did not get a clean gown until I was able to get one for her at the nurse's station and I helped her change it. I was then able to get clean sheets and changed the bedding for her. Next she had a raging headache and asked for an ice pack. Three requests and three hours passed. I ended up taking some ice out of her cup and using the plastic the utensils came in to make her a makeshift ice pack for her forehead. I asked where the ice machine was so I could fill a glove with ice and I was told that it was not available to me. They told me I should just ask for an ice pack, and I said we already did three times and three hours ago. The ice pack arrived! The doctors did a good job diagnosing and helping her. My message to the nurses who were scrolling continuously on their phones is, if you don't like the profession and taking care of people when they are down and out, go find yourself a new job. My sister's room mate was also left in her urine for hours as well. Btw even if your patients are sick they need to eat. There was no menu there and she had not eaten in almost 2 days. I searched out the number and told her how to order the food (that she said was vile). At other hospitals if you don't tell them what you want they bring food anyway. Not here they just left her without any! Bottom line, for a hospital, you are a disgrace. I thought the ER at MMH was bad but you St Clare taught me what bad actually is. If I ever have the misfortune to need help, drive me an extra hour to a different hospital, even if my arm is cut off and needs to be reattached. Terrible.
