I drove my car past not one but two attendants to go through the attendant monitored car washes (not the auto one) and one of their brushes damaged my car. I later put in a case to have it examined. Some manager whom identified himself as Marc Chavez called me, didn't apologize, said it was my fault and never did anything else. Marc would not inform his insurance of a 3rd party claim because "it wouldn't meet theit deductible" like that is my problem or a reason to shrug off damages.. Marc also refused to give name of any boss above him to properly handle the situation. The damage still exists and the best I got was that insufferably poor manager to just brush it off. I would highly recommend utilizing another car wash that runs with some integrity and care for its customers. Stay away.

However, when I got home, I noticed that my rear license plate bracket and light were not there and there were just the wires. I returned to the car wash and the manager said I know what you are here for and gave me the broken bracket and bent plate. He said I needed to fill out a damage report and get in touch with corporate. I sent pictures and a description of what happened. Unfortunately the office didn't see it since it was in their junk mail. I waited two days to call and she did find it and asked me to include the estimate I received for fixing the light and the bracket. I received a call the next day from a Mr. John {I think his last name was Gumbo)who said it is their policy of the company not to pay damages on Jeep Wranglers that are damaged in their car wash. This increase showed up on my checking account statement. No warning, no phone call, no email, no mail, they just raise the rate because they thought they could. I was stunned with this poor business practice that Russell Speeders does apparently to almost every customer This business should be investigated by the State of Connecticut consumer protection immediately for their deceptive business practices. I feel bad for the employees of this establishment because they actually are very nice. Management is terrible. Upper management is possibly the worst. $29 a month to $49 a month with no warning. A camera scans my license plate and opens the gate; then I just drive onto the smooth conveyor belt and drive out with a sparkling car. This system is so much gentler on my car than the traditional rail. Everyone I've dealt with has been ultra friendly and polite. Best of all, FREE VACS for everyone!
