We have 5 dogs, 2 cats, and a parrot that all stay inside our house. I started looking for HVAC services in the Shawnee, OK area, since we live in McLoud. After reading all the positive reviews for Crider's, I gave them a call. I explained the situation to the lady who answered. She told me that the guys were out on a call but she'd let me know how soon they could get to our house. About 5 minutes later, she called me back and said that they would be at our house in an hour or 2. Paul and Eric showed up at our house at around noon, met my wife, and went to work on our A/C issue. They found the problem almost immediately. After some back & forth between me and Paul on the phone about power feeds, they did what they had to do. They went back to Shawnee to get the parts to fix our problem and got it done in a timely manner. They were extremely respectful to my wife and her situation and showed complete professionalism in the process of their diagnosis and subsequent repairs. The price for what they did was lower than I expected. I called them back out Monday, Aug, 19th because the condenser fan had stopped working. I was off work and at home. I had a new capacitor left from an earlier repair, so I tried that after calling Paul. I called him back to cancel the call, but Eric was just pulling up. Eric went ahead and checked amperage draws on the system. He refused payment for the service call since he "didn't do anything." He said he's just happy to have us as customers. THIS is what customer service is all about.. I will be their customer as long as they are in business. VERY PROFESSIONAL and courteous. I will be calling them again for any heat or air conditioning needs I may have in the future. Thank you Paul and Eric!

(I will be cross-posting this on several sites). TLDR at bottom…read more My experience with Climate Care has made me a customer for life. The AC stopped blowing cold air on Sunday night. Normally, we're the kind of people who try to fix most of our problems on our own before calling someone, but my husband was out of town for a business trip all week, and I didn't feel comfortable trying to diagnose things on my own. I knew I couldn't wait 6 days without AC. So I started doing research. The first guy I called gave me a long list of things that probably needed to be replaced, and gave me a quote of around $400. I gave him my concerns about him diagnosing the AC unit over the phone without even looking at it. He became very rude and told me he could give me an in person quote on Wednesday. I told him to make me an appointment for Wednesday and decided to keep looking around for other options. I'm pretty sure I called at least 15 other places. Several of them quoted me around the same price, or couldn't make it to look at the unit until several days later. I actually ended up finding Climate Care on complete accident while I was looking for a phone number to another place, and I truly believe that God was on my side that day. I was extremely annoyed by the time I called, and I know that was definitely heard over the phone but they were friendly with me the entire time, and he told me he could come look at my unit that day, within the next hour and a half if I was available and give me a quote based on what they found. My prayers had been answered. Brian (I think?) showed up when he was supposed to, and immediately started looking at my unit. Within 15 minutes, he had a diagnosis ready. When he came back he explained the problem to me in simple and matter-of-fact kind of way. I run into service guys all the time (especially in auto shops) who think that because you're a woman you just won't understand the situation, or you don't know what you're really looking for. I did not feel that way at all talking to the guy, and it was a serious breath of fresh air. I was more than prepared for him to tell me that I needed to replace this long list of parts and it was going to cost me over $400. He told me I only needed to replace one part, quoted me around $80 and had the problem fixed for me around 2 hours later. He even took a little bit of extra time to clean up around and inside the unit (at no extra cost to me). I was very pleased with my service and I'm convinced that my AC is working better now than it ever did. I will definitely call them first with any issue I have in the future. TLDR: Was quoted $400 and several days wait to get started on the work for the first company I called. I found Climate Care on accident, and have never been so well taken care of. They were extremely nice, and looked at my unit that day and gave me a quote of around $80. They went above and beyond to make sure my unit was working properly and even cleaned around and inside the unit to make sure that the AC was working 100%.

Van Dyck Mechanical is an absolute godsend!…read more We had a clog in the sewer line on Monday night. I called our home warranty company on Tuesday morning and they referred a plumber to us, but he couldn't make it until Thursday. When he came out, he was unable to unclog the line. He told me not to worry and to call the city to come out and check the lines. They did and said their lines were clear. Again, he told me not to worry, he was going to do whatever he could to help us out, and he would call me back after talking to our home warranty company. Our home warranty company denied the next step, but he said he would work with us to take care of our problem. He had a machine that was more heavy duty, and he would call me at 4:00 Thursday afternoon to set up a time for Friday. No phone call. I called him 3 times on Friday and left messages. Still no phone call. I was told by my home warranty company that I had to go look for a plumber on my own. I looked up on Yelp, put out requests, and Van Dyck was the only company that actually called me and wanted to talk to me. The other companies just wanted me to schedule an appointment. So I called Van Dyck on Monday afternoon, and they came out today (Tuesday). They were professional, took the time to explain what they were doing, and they were able to unclog the line! I know this review is long, but I wanted to explain why Van Dyck has earned my 5 star rating and my recommendation for this company. I've never had to do this before, and I have had companies try to "pull the wool over my eyes" because they know I don't know what to do or what questions to ask. Van Dyck understood my frustration and I was put at ease. I will be forever grateful to this company! Van Dyck Mechanical LLC is a true example of "The Oklahoman Way"

Last week our sewer line started to back up into our house, we called our home warranty service and they sent a plumbing service out 2 days later. He came and worked on trying to clear and after maybe 15 minutes he told us he couldn't clear it. He told us that it was probably in the city line and to call their emergency line. We called them and about an hour later they showed up and looked at our line and then left and came back about an hour later and told us that their line is clear and it was in our line. The plumber told us to call him back if the city couldn't fix it, because he had a bigger machine that he could use to clear it, but it was on a different truck in Stillwater and would call back later in the evening and arrange to come back Friday sometime. He told us not to worry and that he was going to take care of us and he would get it cleared out. Unfortunately he never called back and we tried numerous times to contact him on Friday and he never returned our calls. So, we were stuck over the weekend with a clogged sewer line. Monday morning we called our home warranty place back and they denied to cover anymore work on it and they told us that we have to find a plumber on our own and pay for it ourself. We called several plumbing services and left messages for them to call us back and Van Dyck Mechanical was the only one to call us back. They showed up this morning an hour before our scheduled appointment and they tirelessly worked for about 2 hours trying several different ways to clear it up. They never gave up and whenever we had a question they would answer our questions and they would tell us what they were doing. They were very professional and friendly. They're will be our go to place whenever we need any of their services.
