Excellent attention to detail. We had a crew come deep clean our house. I'm pretty picky and they exceeded my expecations. They took the screens out of my skye lights so they could clean them! I've used Nelson's occassionally for the last 10 years when we've moved homes and their work has been incredibly consistent. Nelson's Cleaning USED to be excellent pre-pandemic. My place was immaculate. The towels were folded nicely like at hotels. My toilet paper was tied into cute rose buds. My house smelled clean and wonderful! Not anymore. After the pandemic, they would send a second-tier crew of very young cleaners who did not speak English and didn't clean very well. I have no problem with anyone working for a living no matter where they are from, but if you can't understand what I am saying, how well will you clean my house if I leave you a note or try to talk to you face to face about something? I have found dirty rags in my bed, trash they forgot to take out or trash bags put on the garage floor, various personal belongings moved around and not put back as they cleaned, and they broke something of mine. They did fess up and were honest, which I appreciate, and they offered to pay for it. I did not make them pay as I understand accidents happen. My kitchen floor had dirty foot prints on it after they cleaned recently and when I called and asked if they cleaned it, I was told they wiped it down with a wet towel. I'm paying $170 a month for a wet towel wipe down? When I told them they don't have to come back to clean the floor and to maybe use a mop and floor cleaner next month, a cleaner showed up the next day, did not knock, and entered my residence with my key! My dog didn't even bark as she normally would if she hears someone knocking. My fiancé was in the bathroom and when he came out was alarmed when he saw someone standing in my living room! I don't think they were trying to do anything sketchy by entering, but the cleaner probably came back to re-do the floor, but it was without permission. I tried to call and talk to the owner, but they told me he was coming back from vacation and they'd have him call me. I felt as though the woman on the phone was a little argumentative and didn't get the concern over a stranger entering my home without permission. It has been over a week now and no call back from the owner. So, communication skills are lacking on their part. I have moved a couple times in recent years and the cleaning fee has increased from $120 to $170 for the same square feet! I used to clean houses,dorms, offices, etc for a living long ago and this is not how it is supposed to be done. I was even giving them a "second chance" after they asked me to let them send better cleaners out to prove they are good. i said ok. I let them come back and they did great one time until the dirty kitchen floor, stranger in my house incident the following month. I have never been mean or yelled at anyone (and I know how demanding some homeowners can be). I'm not asking for much. Just a clean house. I'm not rich. I forgo Starbucks and gym memberships for this indulgence. So, I'm done with them. It's sad because they they used to be a good company. read more

They quit on us because I requested they point the shower head towards the center of the shower. All for the better, they were cleaning our home in an hour and they were missing spots on bathroom counters. Good Riddance. Like other reviews on here, they became worse through the years. read more

Typical house-cleaning (vacuuming, mopping of floors, dusting of furniture). It took approximately 3.5 hours to clean my 2 BR, 1.5 BA condo (~1200-1500 sq. ft.). Price: $130 for a monthly visit (scheduled every 4 weeks). I found them through Angie's List--they had received very positive reviews. I was blown away by their work--the house looks so good! Very professional--they arrived on time, went straight to work, and stayed very focused during their entire visit. I will use them again, for sure. read more

BEWARE! I had this company in my home for 8 years. They used to be great, however the last few years, they are so careless. They have no recognition of how they handle my household items! They have ruined my high end fridge and stove & sink- they scrub against the grain and left major scratches. They broke mini blinds and toilet seats, yet left dirt & cobwebs in corners. I can't even say they clean good- they rush through my 4,000 sq foot home in less than 2 hours- they seem to just wipe, not scrub counters & floors and disguise it with good smelling deodorizers. They never put anything back in the place it belongs. They also use their own supplies that leave residual debris from other people's homes- long dog hair, dirt, crumbs, etc. They use the same dirty rags to clean every home. When I tried to talk to the crew about my concerns- they don't seem to understand me or speak English. I notified the owner and he switched crews once, but the new crew did the same thing. The owner never comes to spot check and when I told him of my concerns, he was very defensive & his answer was to dismiss me as a client- now I'm left with damaged appliances! read more

NOT THE SAME CLEANING SERVICE IT USED TO BE! I have used Nelson's Cleaning for 11 years. They were excellent for the first 6-7 years. The last several years, they have been terrible! They have ruined my expensive furniture and have broken several items. They don't clean dirt & cobwebs in corners. They're spend a mere 90 minutes or less in my 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath home! There's no way they can clean my home in 90 minutes. They have used my home items for their personal use. They leave shades open, lights on, and move all my things. They use the same dirty cloths to clean multiple homes. BEWARE if you use Nelson's Cleaning! read more

I LOVE this service! My house is spotless after they are here. My daughters love coming home to the flower on the toilet paper and their dolls perfectly lined up on their bed. I love how well they vacuum our coach and mop our floors. Last week I swear I permanently scraped our tub with our window screens, but they somehow got it off. For the past 10 years I have used a different cleaning company. I tried Nelsons once and now I ONLY use them! They have been coming to my house every other week for a few months and they always do an amazing job! They are more thorough than my previous cleaning company and they charge less. I've tried a couple of different cleaning companies and had issues with each (one company's cleaners even brought their kids with them) but I love this one. My daughter is a nanny for high-end families who raved about the company so I decided to give them a try. They did an initial deep clean for a very reasonable price and are now coming out every four weeks for cleaning. My house has never been so clean. They're prompt (or if are running late due to a previous cleaning will give me plenty of notice), they get right to work and keep working until they're done. I also like that the same crew comes each time. Even though there may be a slight language barrier on occasion one of them has a translator app on her phone so we both can easily be understood by the other..no problem.
