hmm...not sure what management is thinking. They re-did the menu and it's supposed to be "tapas" style, but the prices are not tapas worthy. You pay like it's fine dining. The Ox cheeks were really excellent, but the problem is, they were served on their own. Just a big portion of rich fatty (and YES-delicious) meat, but nothing beside it. This is the type of dish that is enhanced by what goes with it. You need some greens and maybe polenta or something to set it off. The other items we had were just ok. Can't really remember them and we tried everything on the menu, as there were 4 of us. Also-the food came out with 20-30 minutes between courses. When you are just getting a little appetizer sized plate, that doesn't work out too well. I think this establishment knows how to prepare lovely food based upon my past dining experiences there, they just need to bring back their tried and true regular way of serving the food. read more
