Dr. Benscheidt has cared for our dogs and horses. We have been nothing but happy with his diagnostic prowess and compassionate care.

She is just so happy to see the staff. They've all treated her well. Please read the good reviews with the bad. Weigh them carefully. It is your choice. Just know I would recommend them. 5 STARS.

If I could give zero stars, I would…read more We boarded our dogs here and added grooming to their stay. During her bath, one of our dogs tried to jump out of the tub. The staff member turned away, and our dog caught her toenail on the drain, causing it to tear and bleed. I received a call around 7 p.m. letting me know about the injury. The employee said it didn't look bad and that they were "treating it," but would check with her manager. After sending a photo, she called back and said they both agreed our dog was fine. When we arrived the next morning, staff had to carry our dog out to the lobby because she couldn't walk. They advised us to take her to the vet immediately. Because our regular vet was unavailable, we went to an emergency clinic, where we learned she had nearly torn her nail completely off. She required surgery under anesthesia to remove the nail. Our dog was in pain, limped for weeks, and needed special equipment (a cone, boot, and bandages). Between the vet visit and supplies, we spent about $800. We asked Camp Bow Wow to reimburse only the vet bill, but they refused, citing a waiver we signed. I could understand that if this had been a random accident or a dog fight--but this injury happened due to employee negligence. Their "groomers" are not trained professionals, just general staff. This facility is not safe or trustworthy. If you love your dog, please take them somewhere else.

I've also found the reservation system, and the drop-off and pick-up, to be super easy. In addition to daycare services, Oscar gets regular grooming and he always smells so good when he comes home! :) We've had him in for boarding twice, and it also went well. Mostly it gave me peace of mind knowing he'd be well taken care of by people who care about him. When the facility moved this spring, I wasn't sure we'd continue. But it's such a welcoming and familiar place for Oscar, it's been worth the drive so far. And the new building is huge and looks great. I can't wait until they allow us in to see the new digs!

The staff is wonderful, caring, loves dogs, diligent. My dog Peyton came to us as an adult rescue and had some issues. HH willingly accepted him -- he cannot be in the general dog population, and they have a program just for that! Enrichment: He plays and trains with people all day. He can't wait to go when it's daycare time.He loves it and all the staff. Makes it so much easier to board him too knowing he is getting the best care and having a good time. HH sends you a report card during boarding with pics and how things are going. I can't thank HH enough for all they have done for us. They are the BEST.

I would highly think twice about taking your dog to this facility. Last fall I took my dog to be…read moregroomed and they did a great job. So when I called to make another appointment a few weeks ago they said well we don't have a professional groomer anymore but we can still do a full groom and just make it all one length. Nothing fancy. I said that's great that's all my dog needed was to be groomed to one length I wasn't picky just as long as he was groomed. So I made the appointment and dropped him off at 8am, they said they would call me when he was done and ready for pick up. I talked with the girl an explained how I wanted a full groom and to clean up around his face and feet because I have a had time when I clip him at home doing those areas. She said it wouldn't be a problem. So I waited all day for a phone call, around 4:15 I called and asked if he was done being groomed and ready for pick up. The lady said yes. I went to pick him up, when I got there the lady and man at the front desk were confused and didn't even seem to know what was going on. The young kid asked me what dog and if I had paid I said no and that he was there for a full groom he said it would be $50 and went to get my dog. When my dog came out from the back he wasn't groomed at all. Maybe clipped with scissors some but very badly. He had not been clipped on the body, top head, under belly, no where else. I immediately said that he hasn't been groomed, the older lady said that the girl had some trouble with him and couldn't groom him. I asked well why didn't she call me and I would have came right away and pick him up? She had no answer. I asked if the owner or manager where available? She said they were the owners. I asked them why I wasn't called? They had no answer. I asked if this is how they ran a business? They had no answer. I told them how aggravated I was because I wasn't notified that he hadn't been groomed at that the lady was having a hard time with him. The older gentleman said that they don't have a professional groomer, I said well than she shouldn't be saying she can groom him or any dog for that matter if the job can't be done. And then them try and take customers money. He said well he tried to bite her twice, he is a puppy almost 1 years old has been groomed at least 7 times and I have never had or heard of him biting. If she truly knew anything about grooming you would know you never start with the face you always start with the body. I'm upset that they never called because I would have been there right away to get him. Instead he sat there all day. When I got him home he rushed to his water like he was lethargic and had not had any all day. I decided to start to groom him myself and when I went to grab our brush he acted scared and timid something he has never done before, which leads me to believe he was hit with the it or abused in some way. I will never return or recommend this facility, and again I would highly think twice about taking your dogs here.

She was a rehome situation and had been trained to use a liter box in her crate. Meghan from Training Wheels helped me train Lemon to go outside and to LOVE her crate as a safe place and not soil it. Additionally, she helped me train Lemon to be totally focused on me, even with distractions. She sits when asked, she looks to me for approval and consent, and comes when called, no matter what. She is the goodest girl now - not that she wasn't before - she is just so much better now. All of this training was done with a lot of knowledge and a lot of love from Training Wheels. I also use Training Wheels for boarding Lemon. She gets so much positive attention and interaction. I was a bit hesitant at first because there are a lot of big dogs, but the times that I have boarded her, there have been dogs her size to play with and the bigger dogs play in a different area. For sleeping, she gets her own area (with door) with plenty of space for her bed and toys and then an area for going potty, should she need to in the night (Italian Greyhounds have hamster bladders, haha). The building where she sleeps and takes naps is temperature controlled and she is surrounded by other dogs in their areas, so is never alone. There are multiple outside play areas - and they designate which areas are for which size dog, and the dogs are always supervised. Training Wheels staff are always with the dogs and interacting with the dogs. They send pics of my happy dog playing outside and running and having just the best time. I feel that my tiny dog Lemon is very safe and happy there. I can't recommend Training Wheels enough for both training and boarding. Lemon is SO well taken care of and loved.

Yay for Oscar and yay for the team at Training Wheels!
