I found the car online Saturday morning and sent an inquiry. Tre responded quickly without playing any "games". We both agreed on a trade we felt was fair. Within a couple of hours, I was on my way to Mississippi (a 3 hour drive) to make the trade. We kept in touch because we were going to get there a few minutes after closing. Once we arrived, my beautiful new ride was waiting for me (with a full tank, that I so appreciate). Tre had the paperwork ready to go as I requested. We signed a few papers and were on our way! They have a 2025 model that my son…read morewas interested in at a discounted price, but the discount wasn't enough since in a few months it'll be two years old and these days you can find a 2026 model of the same model and with the same features for the same price as the 2025, even if it means driving 2 to 4 hours. so we decided to go ask what the price was and see if we could negotiate a better deal since we're in the military. The salesperson was nice, but when he mentioned it to the "sales manager," the manager started spouting a spiel about how he could sell that car for more than they're asking and that he knows every trick in the book. He tried to lecture me on his 12 years of experience in the business I just listened, and I didn't want to be rude. They missed out on a check that would have come in handy at the end of the month especially since we only wanted to negotiate about $1,500 off, and they probably would have ended up with $47,500 with taxes in their pocket because we were going to pay with a check and without financing. Cars depreciate year after year; when you try to trade in your vehicle, if it's in good condition and relatively new, they offer you more money. And even after your car's been in an accident, they factor in the model year more than other things and that's common knowledge..... I just said, "Don't argue--it's pointless." Next week we're driving two hours from our house to buy a car the same model, same trim levels, the color my son wanted and it's even $400 cheaper for a 2026.... New Ford Meridian didn't get my money "thank God" and they're still sitting on a 2025 model that they've been offering at the same price for the last three months which is when my son saw it and paying to keep it at the dealership. It's sad to see how little enthusiasm they have for selling or negotiating; that's why these dealerships don't have many sales. What they do have, though, are plenty of bad reviews about the salespeople and poor service.

My wife and I were en route from Massachusetts to Louisiana when my motor blew out in the SUV…read moretowing our cargo trailer, just outside of Meridian, Mississippi. I called John O'Neil Johnson Hyundai and told them I would be hobbling in shortly. By the time I pulled up to their service center, our poor Hyundai Santa Fe was leaking oil and the motor was knocking pretty loudly. The cargo trailer was still attached, and our cat Dexter was riding shotgun with me. My wife and our little poodle-mix Gigi were in the Ford Fusion waiting on the bad news. When the personnel at the dealer realized how desperate I was and how bad things were, they let me pull the SUV into the shop, trailer still attached, and helped me to get the vehicle in and the trailer detached, then used another vehicle to put the trailer back outside in the lot. They also let my wife, our dog Gigi, and our cat Dexter come in and wait in the cool while they did the initial diagnosis. Mind you, this was really my first time getting to the south and being in a really bad spot, and I had no idea how great it would be to be stuck in Meridian. To make a long story short, the staff at this dealership were so helpful to my wife and I over the next 24 hours. While they didn't tell me they could replace a motor for less than $100 (ha!) they did about everything they could to help us get the SUV loaded onto a car trailer, get the U-Haul into the lot and set up to transfer goods from the cargo trailer, loaned me a jack so I could get the cargo trailer unhitched at the storage facility, etc., etc. they even had people from the dealership offering to help me move goods around, offered us water, helped me back the U-Haul into place, and more. Moose, Cornbread, John, and others were more than generous to us. When we offered to do something nice like buy them all pizza or something, the only thing they asked for us to do was to make it to Louisiana safely! Thanks again to John O'Neil Johnson Hyundai and staff for giving me the best first taste of southern hospitality as this guy from Massachusetts sets out on his new life in the Deep South.

I'd just spent $550.00 in Texas to assure a safe sound travel for the summer. When my car started to "freak out" as the alternator was going out and my battery was self destructing... I got off 20 and rolled into a less than Motel... in a bit of a panic. Beyond stressed! Yelp had 6 suggestions... Wade's Auto had 6 very shiny reviews. I was curious how a shop could maintain such a streak of positivity , it didn't seem possible. I'd worked for a mechanic before in Texas... you can't make sure everything and everyone is happy... it's just a challenging business. Wade can! He is honest. He is as reliable as his overwhelmed present (5/22) state can be. He is a neurotic perfectionist and does not suffer fools. Get out the way and let the man work and you'll get your car truly repaired with all the information you need to know about anything else he may have run across. It's a guarantee of service hard to find these days. There is nothing that compares to an honest craftsman and his life's encyclopedic knowledge as it applies to your investment and your safety. This man has earned a 5+++ in my experience with him.
