It would be nice if they had more variety of tee heights (or adjustable tees) to use on the mats.

Lost distance for accuracy. I can live with that but have used it 8/10 times out and can't keep the ball in the fairway. Would hit 10 out of 14 fairways with my older driver. Loft was also changed to 9.5 from 10.5. Waist of money and time. Better off just hitting a few yourself than having someone there fit you. Went back to the old club.

Despite arriving before our scheduled time, the cashier took roughly 10 minutes to process our payment, taking her sweet time, and then another couple minutes to get our clubs and everything into the cart. By the time we actually reached the tee, we were late -- largely because of the course's own slow check-in process. The starter then told us we had to skip the first hole because the couple we were paired with was finishing up. We politely asked if we could simply play the first hole, and instead of trying to understand the situation, the starter gave us an attitude and a lecture about how strict they are about arriving on time. Apparently that rule only applies to customers and not to the staff taking 15+ minutes to get us checked in and into a cart. The whole operation feels like it's being run by incompetent people who are completely disconnected from their customers. What made it even more ridiculous was that the couple we were paired with had their BABY with them in a stroller on a links-style course. They were genuinely nice people, so this isn't directed at them, but it's hard to understand how the course can accommodate that while refusing to show any understanding toward customers who were delayed by traffic and then further delayed by the course itself. This is a 9-hole course that costs around $45 with a cart, and there were open tee times even on a weekend. On top of that, while we were playing, there was nobody on the hole behind us or even two holes behind us. So clearly there was room on the course and no legitimate reason why we couldn't have played the first hole. For $45 for nine holes, I expect at least basic customer service and common sense. Instead, we got an unnecessarily hostile experience over a situation that the course itself contributed to. Absolutely would not recommend. Would give a 0/5 if I could... The course itself was alright, modern golf carts were cool but the starter absolutely ruined our round and left a bad taste in our mouth for the whole round.

The golf course shares the entrance to the police station, though there is dedicated golf parking around the back. While I really want to like this course, the staff can be unwelcoming, and the course doesn't drain well and is often saturated. Greens are on the small side, so despite being a short course, approaches need to be accurate. Certain tee boxes are in horrible shape, presumably because many hit irons of the grass rather than teeing it up. It is a walkable course - I would not recommend carts due to the aforementioned water issues. Greens fees are fair - currently $22 for weekday.

It really helps keep your game sharp throughout the winter season, and they have great summer rates as well, to keep folks coming in. The technology is awesome- on the curved screen, you really feel part of the course! Great beer selection including some local breweries like Start Line, and they occasionally have women's events like group lessons and clinics. They have occasional scrambles as well. Love the pool tables and shuffleboard tables for a change of pace. Overall, love coming here weekly and definitely recommend it.

But as of lately it's gone downhill because:…read more1) The last two times I have been there, there have been 10+ teenagers standing around a single pool table, screaming and yelling in a different language. I'm not paying this much money to use a golf simulator to then listen to people scream 10 feet away from me the entire time I'm there. 2) it's always very understaffed. Now takes 10-15 mins of looking for someone to get help or get a beer. 3) it seems like they haven't put a ton of attention (or money) into upkeep over the years. The tee boxes are in very rough shape and it always feels like you're hitting out of a divot. Hopefully they make some changes... until then, me and my group won't be back.
