Want to say that Alma Alas in alterations is the BEST. My daughter's wedding is in LA this weekend, and I have to fly there on Thursday. On Sunday I tried on the gown I'm wearing and it needed a last minute alteration! Disaster to be sure unless I could get it fixed immediately! Alma to the rescue. Alma did it while I waited at the store on Sunday. So accommodating. Plus now it's absolutely PERFECT. Thank you, Alma, for saving the day! read more

I am here to review the cafe in Neiman Marcus. I had excellent service and food selection was amazing. I like the vibrant decor, the theme reminds me of LA. Great value for the money. No dress code, I like the idea of shopping while taking a bite. Great job! read more

This company sucks They literally canceled my order for no reason and then when I spoke to customer service, I asked them to honor the sale and they declined management did not want to be held responsible for anything and instead of working with the customer, they only offer me free shipping This is $1 billion company by the way read more

If I could give this store a - 1 I would. I stopped in today as I was interested in purchasing perfume from a brand that few stores carry. In the cosmetics/perfume area, head banging music was blaring at a decibel level where I could hardly hear the salesperson that was trying to assist me. We were literally shouting at each other. She told me that 'the manager turns that on and then she goes upstairs'. Really? Is this a kiddy store or an ultra expensive department store? Busy mall, and this place always looks deserted....now I know why. 'The manager' cost the store a sale and also cost a salesperson her commission. Shameful. Contacting corporate as well. read more

This store is so ridiculous. There's not a lot of people here and 2 separate sales People absolutely weren't very interested in helping me and I kept getting pushed along to somebody else. I wanted to buy a large bottle of Bacharach perfume, and the guy that was standing behind the car counter, barely acknowledge me the store so ridiculous . There's definitely got to be other Neiman Marcus stores where the sales people actually care about their job and want to help the people that are walking in the store . read more

Neiman Marcus - The guy with the hat is a bad sales person. Maybe he's just working there for decoration and isn't really interested in selling anything ! - Shoe Stores Near Me - Garden City, New York

I placed a pre-order with Neiman Marcus a while ago, but I was double charged for a $1,700 bag -- the charge appeared twice on different days. When I checked my bank statement, I was shocked and immediately contacted customer service. Their response was absolutely unacceptable. The representative tried to explain the system using a condescending math example, and then told me to "figure it out," with a smirk in their voice -- it was mocking and humiliating. I've never felt so insulted by a customer service experience in my life. This experience completely destroyed my trust in this store. I now despise this company and never want to shop here again. Just seeing the name Neiman Marcus makes me feel sick. read more

I bought a summer sandals and it got broken on the first day of wearing. I left my sandals for repair more than a month ago but I have not heard from them since. Terri service! I probably get it back once summer ends. read more

Here at Neiman Marcus, this is quite a bit to take in, with a lot of products that will catch your eye, and how clean the store is. I found quite a variety that I don't personally find, but the choices to offer go for decision-making. The styles are fun to look at, and I'm sure you'll think the same. It's no surprise to fall into the trap of looking for quite some time. On a Sunday, I didn't find a lot of sales associates on the floor, despite it not being too busy, but something to see improve. The time of day I'm sure is a factor, which makes it understandable. They also provide the NM Cafe, which I didn't take note where it was until I looked on the website. With the store looking in great shape, no doubt this is not a stop to miss. read more

Genuinely the rudest worker I have ever met. I work in retail, and I would never treat someone that way. I sprayed something in the air because there were no tester strips in sight, and nobody seemed to be helping us (my mistake, i guess) and the associate working at La Prairie yelled at me to not spray it in the air, and began chastising me several times whilst shaking his head at me. Wow, never in my life have I felt like more of an idiot... He continued staring at me and my friends, shaking his head... I was looking to buy one of the Harmonist perfumes from you guys.... Ill go take my business elsewhere. This was at 5:00pm on 10/13/25. Safe to say I wont be back. If you dont like interacting with people, dont work retail maybe? read more

Sales associates here seem helpful and friendly before you make a purchase, but that amicability seems to die once the order is complete. My mother-in-law purchased a handbag for me, but since it wasn't in stock, the sales associate offered to have it delivered directly to my home. When I asked about delivery times, she estimated it would get to me in around a week. Two weeks have now gone by without a peep, and since then, I've been given the runaround. I've made calls to the department, urgently requested callbacks, and even dialed the exact sales associate's number from her business card. Each time, it's felt like I've been given the brush-off. I'm tempted to call them out in light of the purchase price, but the truth is that no customer should be given such a hard time, regardless of how much an item cost. What's worse, I've had both friends and acquaintances who have had similar issues with Neiman Marcus orders - wrong shipments, no communication, and carelessly packaged or damaged luxury goods. Bottom line: Beware of placing in-store delivery orders here. You're better off purchasing available stock, or - better yet - someplace else. read more

Very helpful service. Kind and Knowledgeable customer service employees. Thanks again for the help

I think I secretly love this store. I need to stay away for awhile after today's purchase. Shhh...don't tell my husband :x I bought 3 jackets (& some shoes) from here over the past 2 years and never had a bad experience. My SA, Emily is the best, she works in the coats / jackets dept. and has helped me out with every one of them. Never once have I walked in and was looked down upon even if I was just browsing so Idk what is up with all the negative reviews about that. A sales associate (no matter what dept.) always approaches me & ask if I needed help with anything. I actually feel more comfortable @ Neiman than at an upscale steakhouse. Don't blame the customer service if you return something after the 30-day return policy window or bought a pair of expensive shoes, wore it once & want to bring it back bc they hurt your feet, that's not their fault. Once their worn, they cannot be returned. This store is very clean and has a good selection of high-end cosmetics, designer shoes, outerwear, etc. And a Louis Vuitton + Bottega Veneta too. read more

I've been shopping with Ray Roop virtually since 2016 when I lived in Seattle and have moved all over the country since then and he's been nothing but amazing helping me with what I need! He's helped me find tons of products from hair products, makeup, perfume, bags, shoes & clothes. He responds extremely quickly & the shipping is always super fast! I cant wait to visit him in person one day & officially meet him in person! He's my go to person for anything and will continue to be whenever I need anything! Best sales associate ever!! read more

So I see someone wearing a pair of sneaks that I must have so I head to Neiman Marcus. Walk in on a busy Sunday and I quickly find Wendy. She says she's not sure about my size but said she will run upstairs and check. Not sure what department is upstairs because Neiman Marcus isn't my usual spot. Anyway she find the size I try them on and realize I need half size larger. We order them on Sunday. Today, Monday she texts me with a shipping update. They're to arrive on Thursday. The best customer service. Now I pray they actually do come on Thursday so I don't have to update my review read more

After doing a foreign currency exchange at Travelex nearby , I came here today by chance. The high end vibes of this store is scary to anyone that has limited budget like me :) I admit that the price of any item in the store is out of my financial senses. Are the sales persons judgmental to whom they need to offer their service? I don't mind not asked for any help. I love walking and roaming around as in window shopping mode - Retail therapy anyway is good for women. The building is smaller in comparison to the neighboring department stores but it has its own security guy. Nice ambience. Clean and modern building. I heard so many good review of their cafe. I was pressed with time so definitely coming back for a try out. read more

Purchased online for same day pickup and without any notification order was unavailable and basically was told too bad we will let you know when, this was a gift for that evening, subsequently that evening I received a text it was now available for pickup which was too late, I did pick it up the T because I had already paid for it and now they want to investigate ha ha This is the reason Amazon thrives and the big stores don't, was there next store was EMPTY! read more

I placed an order online for store pickup assuming the store has it in stock. Instead it is being shipped to the store for me to pick up. The order has not been shipped but they claim they cannot cancel it. I see why Neiman Marcus is in it's last legs. Horrible service. read more

Made a return here and it was super easy and near the doors. Way easier than returning at the post office. I saw he charge reversed in 2 days. I was quickly looking for a new shirt and got something that did NOT look like the website pic. I'd def shop Nordstrom over this place in the future. What I didn't know was it's not as good in service. read more

I ordered two YSL handbags online, which I had to return. One came with no box and the bottom half of the leather was wrinkled and misshapened due to being stored without protection and the other bag was assymetrical at the rounded corners of the bag which is a manufacture flaw (mini camera bag). It's sad that they would ship out supposedly new, designer bags that do not match the quality of the price tag or designer label. Please be more diligent with your quality control in your inventory. read more

Purchased a Christmas display item from NM. Poor and unhelpful service through the purchase and delivery experience. I ordered the item for Christmas in late November. After weeks chasing the order online and three different phone calls, the 'white glove' delivery came in early Jan, weeks late, went to the wrong address and then left behind an enormous pile of packaging for me to dispose of. I used to be a huge NM fan, but based on this experience I wouldn't recommend them for any purchase physical or online. read more

I'm not really understanding this place. I know, I know, the Neiman Marcus customer service is paramount. I'm just not feeling this store. What's throwing me is the actual store. The Mens department is small and full of youthful clothing that I wouldn't wear. The Mens suits are off base. It's either uber expensive or brands that I wouldn't consider. Has anyone else been in the store (which seems small) and said, um no. Sorry Neiman, Marcus me out read more

I can't believe we are in a time where stores are closing left and right because of online shopping and Neiman Marcus doesn't care to service people walking in ... the reviews are so true on here . You want into the cosmetic department for example and no one approaches you they are on their cell phones texting instead some employees had two phones in their hands ! A lady with pink eye glasses just didn't want to be bothered ... it was a Monday no one was in the store the least they could do is greet customers . read more

Nice store, nice selection of things, but that's as far as it goes. The employees talk to you as though you're annoying them by shopping there. No smiles, no pleasantries, just flat faces and tones. And this was at multiple registers. One register had 3 employees standing there talking to each other, they barely acknowledged me for 3 minutes before one woman decided she was done talking and stormed back to her department. Not sure if race had anything to do with it, but it definitely felt that way, since other customers received more pleasant exchanges. I've never seen a large amount of people in there and I'm sure this is part of the reason why. Sorry but I can't spend my money in a place where they treat you like that. read more

So I was impressed that someone actually called me back about having my makeup application done before a wedding. I was staying at a nearby hotel and the Mall was very convenient for me. I was unable to schedule makeup at the two places referred to me by the hotel so I took a chance and called NM. They were unable to connect me to someone in cosmetics but took my phone number. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call back and even more thrilled to be told they would do my makeup for free! All I have to do was purchase three items. At first I was a bit taken back by this when the woman told me she worked for Chanel but I just had to buy any three things from cosmetics NOT only Chanel. Since I know pricing on cosmetics are set I figured I could get away paying about $75 and I would give her a nice tip $50. I do agree with many of the reviewers on not feeling comfortable in this high end store. From the moment you walk in there are workers are huddled together in groups of 2 or 3 and just look at you as you're walking by. No one greeted or asked if I needed assistance. Definitely not making you feel welcome. I had to step in front of the two cosmeticians to see if it was the person who called me, even though I texted her a message that I was on my way. The setup for makeup application is to put it generously, Poor. The lighting is not well placed and everything she had to get was on the other side of the counter so she had to continuously go back and forth. Luckily I had plenty of time. My makeup was done nicely and I was happy with the results. The part that really got me was that at the end she just says "OK which items can I get you? The lipstick, mascara and the moisturizer?" I said I flew here and need small stuff. She said oh no worries they are all small enough to travel. $150! I was not offered a choice of any other Brand. read more

Came in here with my niece looking to purchase some sneakers. Before asking if we would need any assistance, the older black sale associates in the men designers sneaker section barely blinked an eye and continue carrying on they conversations. I love this store. I actually need to stay away from this store lol. Super friendly in the purse section which is basically my section :) when I bought stuff last year I forgot gift boxes and didn't want to venture back to mall, online I was able to order gift boxes etc got them delivered for free! One of my favorite places to go to. I go at least once a week here. The staff are all very nice. They have personal shopper offerings with any salesperson. I just had the most amazing shopping experience today. My fiancé purchased a YSL bag for my birthday for an online pick up that was just thrown in the bag. NM Cafe: very conveniently located on my way to the beach; I've stopped by a few times to have lunch: relaxed atmosphere, well conceived menu and cordial restaurant team. Elkus Manfredi Architects have done a superb job with the exterior design of the Neiman Marcus building. The interior design of the NM Cafe has a few impressive elements, but I think the design of the store excels that of the Cafe. I particularly like the contemporary paintings, drawings and other works of art on display across the store. I look forward to further explore the menu of NM Cafe. A few of my favorites so far: 1) Sautéed Salmon Fillet; 2) All Natural Hamburger (with fresh mozzarella); 3) Tuscan Grilled Chicken Melt, Fresh Mozzarella & Arugula. N.B. Unlike the store hours, NM Cafe is open from 11 am to 4 pm. This is a bit surprising since it closes much earlier than the store...
