Christine is kind, effective, and thorough. She has been a tremendous help to me, my family and my past employers, over the years and we are thankful that we have someone so amazing to count on. I've referred my Christine to family and colleagues to Christine in the past, and if you are in need of help with your immigrant or non-immigrant issues I would highly recommend her to you as well. Good luck and all the best! read more

Christine was able to tell us ahead of time above every potential risk and challenge in the process, so we knew exactly what to expect and were you able to mitigate every challenge ahead of time. Christine, Raemi and their team are great. I had quite a journey with extending L visa and getting my Green Cards at the time with historical highest rejection rate for both. It is the second law office I'm working with and the difference is dramatic. Christine helps with the strategy, she's very precise in the documents and information I needed to prepare and excellent with managing the timelines. Also it's very important to add that she addressed all the questions my employer and I had about my case in a very helpful and informative manner. read more

I was lucky to find Christine Troy to discuss my employment based green card process and the E2 investment visa. I am out of Florida and have been in contact with many immigration attorneys from different states. All are rated and ranked highly. However and by far, she is the best that I have dealt with. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and detailed. In addition to her vast knowledge, the positive personality , creativity in finding solutions and her personal approach is what really makes her such a great attorney. I would say that I was talking to a person that really cared about finding solutions and guiding me through challenges as if it was her own case. Many if not most attorney's do not have those characteristics and it comes down to time and money. I have dealt with enough to make that conclusion. read more

Where do I begin? Christine is the best immigration lawyer I had the pleasure to work with. I personally consider my case as complicated, numerous H1Bs, different employers, one O1 visa and two different files for a green card. I found myself in some difficult situations that put my status at risk, including loosing employment with one of the company that sponsored me. Christine's knowledge and creativity got me out of each of them. I am thankful and proud to be able to realize one of my dream tomorrow: attending the Oath ceremony and becoming a US citizen! I worked with top lawyers from Los Angeles, San Diego, Miami and New York but Christine and her brother David are by far the best. I usually do not post reviews, but I strongly recommend anyone in need of immigration counseling to call her law office. I would not trust anyone else. read more

Ms. Neils helps me filing h1b petition and perm application. When officer issued a tricky RFE, which we had provided those information already, she still handled it and got me approvrd. I've worked with 5 different immigration attorneys/firms, small to very large. After being disappointed multiple times with immigration lawyers, I was lucky someone referred me Christine to work on my O1 case. She cares about your case just as much as you do and her personal approach you won't find elsewhere. So far I've referred 5 people to Christine and everyone seemed unanimously impressed with her knowledge and honest assessment. After working with more immigration attorneys I had to come back to yelp to write a review. Don't hesitate to contact Christine! read more

I have consistently found Christine to be a wonderful attorney to work with. She skillfully guides clients through the complex immigration process from start to finish. She provides detailed information, advice, and helpful guidance even in complicated situations. She is an unusual find since she is professional and knowledgeable as well as friendly, compassionate and a pleasure to work with. I have recommended Troy & Neils to friends and clients and have received the same positive feedback from them about this firm. read more

I cannot make a recommendation highly enough for Christine. It took about a year to get the green card but I always felt like I knew what to expect and that we were prepared. Me and my wife are not only Polyamorous, but also transgender and a lesbian couple, as complicated as that sounds its even more complex. Christine was kind, understanding, respectful and guided us through the process with incredible ease. All emails were answered the same day and any concerns addressed nearly instantly. Shes nice, personable and wants to make sure you get what you need. If you have an immigration issue, please see Christine. read more

Matters of immigration are confusing and frankly, scary. I am so glad I took the opportunity to work with Raemi (& Co!) on ours. They have been an absolute pleasure to work with. To reflect on my experiences, some words that come to mind are: fair, thoughtful, available, helpful, and kind. We worked on our matters in a period when the requirements were shifting literally week over week, and at times, day over day. Whereas I was loosely encouraged by a friend that maybe I could handle my case on my own, I am SO GLAD I wasn't pennywise and pound foolish. Once the process engaged, I realized how much an experienced lawyer's careful stewardship was needed, how much nuance was at play about forms, timing, accuracy, completeness etc. I wouldn't have had one iota what I was doing. Experience and support matters. Their guiding light was a beacon in a sea of overwhelm, and I am so so so glad I got to work with them. 10/10. read more

Christine is the best attorney ever! She prepared the U.S permanent resident card (for 2 years&10years) and the U.S citizenship for me. Every processes that she had done was very fast! Here some good useful informations. For the the U.S permanent resident card, after she filed my documents, one month later I got letter for fingers print. Then I had an interview in the following month. She was also there with me and my husband when I had an interview too. I had really easy interview. Basically, I got a green card very fast within not even 4 months!! For the U.S citizenship as well, same quick processes. She prepared me before I had an U.S interview as usual. Therefore, I passed The Naturalization test:) I'm highly recommended Christine to represent you. She is really nice, helpful, follow up and always answer all the questions. I'm so lucky to have her as my Attorney. Thank you very much Christine!!!! read more

I was just recently approved for an H1B with the help of Christine and her team. It has been my second filing after not being picked in the lottery last year. She has helped me from Day 1, after being an International Student under OPT working with my tech start-up. She has been very meticulous, trying to understand my situation, gathering a lot of documentation and presenting a very solid case. Having worked with her for 2 years, I've been very focused to work hard and pursue a career in the US with her supporting my visa requirements. I've been recommending Christine to my network-- the least I can do to show my sincere appreciation. Thank you Christine and team! read more

So I called expecting to have to make an appointment for a consultation (which i was full prepared and happy to to do) to discuss an issue with my petition for my brothers visa. A very helpful guy by the name of David just asked me a couple of questions and very quicky assessed my situation and explained what i needed to do. David handled my issue via email and over 2 phone calls and set me in the right direction. It was a small thing that he resolved quickly AND asked me for no money. Just said he was happy to help. Great ambassador for his law office and when i need more intricate advice I will absolutely be back to these guys. Very impressed. Thanks David. On another note - the reason I called them in the 1st place is because my irish friends had used them to get their green cards and said they did a great job and made it happen for them. It seemed like they know how to get results and treat clients really well. read more

I highly recommend Christine. My husband and I had particularly bad luck with a previous lawyer, who caused us to have a 1 year delay in our paperwork. Our case was not straight forward, and she had to do a lot of work on our case. She was extremely patient with all my emails, and she was always able to contact the necessary people. She responds very quickly to emails, and explains the process as it goes along. She was able to get my husband here in much less time anticipated because of her attention to detail. We are so happy and lucky to have found Christine. I highly recommend Christine for any immigration needs!! read more

I cannot recommend Christine Troy and her Office highly enough. My husband and I worked with Christine Troy on his Green-card/Permanent Residence application. It was a complicated case and we dealt with Christine for over 2 years before he finally got his Green-card in December 2012. We were referred to her by a number of friends that worked with her. I know at least 6 people that have successfully secured Green-cards via Christine and been very happy with her service. (1) Christine is an extremely professional, knowledgeable and competent attorney who specializes in Immigration Law. She is fully up to date in all immigration related legislature. We felt very secure that we were getting the very best advice from Christine at all stages of the process and trusted her advice 100%. (2) She is extremely client centric - she truly cares about the client and took the time to get to know all aspects of our case. She was friendly, patient, and took the time to explain the legal process, and was always responsive to phone-calls/emails. Going through this process can be extremely scary/emotional and she was very understanding and empathetic of our situation the whole way through. (3) Finally her pricing is incredibly fair and honest. I know people who have been totally ripped off by attorneys for immigration applications. Christine's pricing was based on a flat fee despite numerous meetings. We also dealt with David Troy and Sheila Quinlan in her office and had the same wonderful experience with them. We are incredibly grateful for what they have all have done for us! I would recommend her to anyone who is going through any immigration process - whether for just for a consultation and some advice, or for full service of submitting the application. read more

This review is about 3 and a half years due! I have been meaning to write this but never really had the chance. I am up late and got to thinking that I never would have had the life I have now if it wasn't for Mrs. Raemi Neils. RAEMI NEILS; a legitimate Angel sent from God. I had just turned 18 and did something stupid knowing that I was still in the process of obtaining a green card meaning that having even a misdemeanor on my record could impact my approval. I had already previously met with an immigration lawyer and she had told me that there was nothing she could do, hearing that killed my hopes of ever staying in the US. I spent countless nights crying and begging for God to send me or lead me to someone who could help, thats when I found Raemi on yelp. Set up a date to meet with her and when I did, it was like lights from the sky had radiated on her. I remember her saying "There are good people out there who will understand. You are young and people make mistakes" and she is right. She even advised my other attorney to help with my case and she really didn't have to. All in all, I got my legal status and have been living a great life thanks to Mrs. Neils. I have never met a person who genuinely just wants to help people until her. A genuine and understanding soul. read more

Christine is really the best attorney I have talked to! She is both very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and helpful.

The Best lawyer in San Francisco! I came to America on a visa and she helped me get my citizenship. Very professional and really helped me understand the process. Guided me through the paperwork and explained the timeline. Very helpful, understanding and courteous. Two thumbs up. read more

In June 2013, my wife and I decided to relocate from Asia to San Francisco despite the fact that everyone we knew told us how difficult it would be to get a VISA. In August, less than 3 months later, we were granted a 5 years E-2 Investor VISA. And since, we always give the same answer to those who ask 'how did you do it'. It's simply, it's 'Christine Troy', her thorough review of every single document you submit, her precise and timely answers to any questions you have, her competitive pricing compared to any larger practices, and the simple fact that you work directly with the business owner of the practice instead of an employed person (and that is priceless). But above all, it's today that I write this review, 6 months after I received my VISA, because it's today that Christine is still supporting me in understanding the implications of my VISA for my company and overall my future in this country. And she still hasn't let my wife and I take her for dinner. Thank You Christine and everyone who works with you. Payman & Sharon read more

Raemi is the best lawyer ever! I have consulted with other lawyers but not one of them explained things as clear as Raemi. Her knowledge and experience about immigration process made me feel secure and comfortable. Also Raemi responds to emails very fast! Anytime I had questions Raemi had the answers right away. I would recommend her to anyone! Raemi went above and beyond expectation of an immigration attorney. Raemi is responsive, can't stress enough how she is on call for any issues or questions we may of had, and above all professional in what she does. She made the whole daunting green card process so much less stressful. Always one step ahead and making sure we were always prepared. Make no mistake, Christine is the best immigration lawyer you can find in SF. I decided to meet her after seeing such positive reviews on Yelp, but was a bit skeptical as applying for a working visa requires more scrutiny than selecting a restaurant. I have spoken to several lawyers beforehand, but found Christine to be more way knowledgeable, even towards a visa that is not very common. Christine was also tactful in dealing with my employer, which I appreciated greatly. I highly recommend her assisting anyone with working visa applications. read more

Christine Troy has to be one of the best lawyers in the nation! She is very professional and knowledgable and moreover very motivated lawyer. In my case Christine has helped me prepare fully for my 0-1 visa petition in less than 3 weeks and was great with her instructions. Moreover, she was always there for me when i needed to ask her any question and for quick consultation! I recommend her 100% and believe she is the best! We had a complicated immigration case. We consulted with 7 immigration lawyers for guidance, but no one had any idea on how to handle our case. Most of them suggested that proceeding with our case would do more harm to us than any good. We almost lost hope and just when we were ready to give up, we came across Ms. Christine Troy. Ms. Troy carefully reviewed our case, consulted with her colleagues and came up with a plan on how to handle our case with Department of Homeland Security. Her careful planning and meticulous attention to details during the application process yielded success to our case. Our application sailed smoothly through DHS and NVC. We were expecting some tough questions during the consular interview, but Ms. Troy's case presentation was so perfect, the interview was a cake walk. Throughout the process, over a time period of 15 months, Ms. Troy was always available to answer our questions and willing to guide us in the right direction. We are so happy that we came across Ms. Troy, and would be happy to recommend her to anyone. P&J read more

I highly recommend working with Christine. If I ever have to deal with immigration again, she will be my only choice. Christine is not only very capable of doing her job, but she is also an excellent communicator, very patient (a truly rare characteristic of an attorney) and a very pleasant person to talk to and work with. I have dealt with several attorneys before (immigration, patent, etc.) Most of them are just merely "processors" of petitions. Christine is very different. She cares about her clients and my wife and me could clearly feel that. I believe in good relationships via personal introductions: one of my best friends introduced me to Christine. Christine helped my wife and me obtain our green cards (from L-1A and L-2 visas). While she ensured us that our case would be relatively simple and fast (she anticipated 4-18 months), she also outlined potential pitfalls that we had to be careful about. My wife and I got our green cards in just a few days shy of six months, and we thank Christine (and her friendly assistant, David) for her help to make this process effortless and painless. read more

This woman changed my life the moment I walked into her San Francisco office. I am a stage director working internationally in both opera and musical theater. Christine Troy is not only one of the top-notch immigration lawyers in the US but also one of the most passionate, accurate, sincere and compassionate people I have ever met. As threatening this entire process for sure is, to the extent of simply having no guarantees at all and eventually losing thousands and thousands of dollars, endless sleepless nights and tedious, seemingly never-ending paperwork, Christine at all times stood there, solid as a rock, putting me at ease, being as patient as someone could be with a sometimes overambitious potential immigrant. And artist. Her track record is truly impressive, she has made a thousand dreams come true. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, there is really only one place to go. After a first analysis, she will also tell you right away if your case has a chance to win or not. Two days ago my Green Card got approved. We are so blessed to have stumbled upon the the Law Office of Raemi. My wife and I had gone to different lawyers for information about her adjustment of status case and we felt very frustrated by their treatment and lack of clear information, there was even one account when we where told not to even try to pursue an adjustment of status due to my wife's overstay with a tourist visa. Everything changed the moment we interviewed with Raemi, she was clear and to the point and laid out the process and what to expect. We were impressed to see that throughout our process everything happened just as Raemi had told us, which made us feel proud we had picked her as our legal council in such a difficult process since we could see her level of expertise and experience is far beyond what we could possible hope for. Raemi has a great kind and caring heart and she offered constant legal as well as emotional support during the stressful moments of preparation for our interview and during our interview as well. My wife received her green card recently and we are so thankful for the level of support we received and would strongly encourage anyone that needs migration help to pursue the services of Raemi.
