Immigration processes can feel overwhelming, but she made it much easier by explaining each step and keeping things on track. One thing that really stood out was her attention to detail. She reviewed everything carefully and made sure nothing was missed. That gave me confidence that my case was being handled thoroughly. She was also consistently available to answer questions. In my experience, many immigration lawyers can be hard to reach or slow to respond, but she was the opposite. I never felt left in the dark about what was happening. Even after our formal work together was finished, she has remained available as a resource when questions come up. That level of ongoing support means a lot. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and reliable immigration lawyer.

I was searching in Yelp way back 2018 and i messaged someone who helped Attorney Grace. I was devastated to get my immigrant status because I left my hometown in Philippines and I don't wanna go back home and tell myself, I failed. To cut story short, my case was complicated and she helped me understand what are the possibilities and procedures would be like. She was very honest and intelligent woman. She will not lie to you if your case is possible to work on or you will lose. 2018 we filed VAWA and she made it possible for me to get my work authorization approved while waiting for my first case to be approved before applying for my permanent residency. I will be honest sometimes, I wanted to give up but I have to trust the process. 2019 i got my VAWA approved and filed my adjust status for my permanent residency. 2020- been waiting but gladly I can still work so patience is a virtue. I wanted to give up but I told myself, Quitters never win. I waited. 2021- despite of Covid, I heard a great news from Grace Alano that I am set for my greencard interview. Yes it is December and it would be a perfect Christmas gift and I couldn't ask for more. We went to Sta Clara USCIS for my interview and Atty Grace was there with me. The officer asked few questions but not related to my previous case. Then after few questions, I got my greencard approved! As soon as we stepped out the room, I cried to Atty Grace and said Thank you for making it happen. I can finally go home to Philippines and see my son and family. She hugged and congratulate me. If the time come and I need a legal help, I will go to Atty Grace Alano again. I highly recommend her to help you with your immigration case.

When we finally…read moredecided to get married and settle down here, we needed to find an immigration lawyer that would help us with our petition process. I consulted with a few other lawyers but decided to go with David as I found him to be extremely helpful. During our first consultation, he listened, showed compassion, and was very clear about different options. The previous lawyers I had consulted with were vague and somewhat pessimistic in their approach but with David, it felt like he was willing to explore and find the best path for us. I felt very comfortable and knew that my fiance and I were in good hands. There was so much documentation and paper work involved but the whole process (which took 3 months from filing to getting the green card!) was a breeze. His assistant, Nela, was thorough, efficient and could be counted on to respond to all my questions in a timely manner. I love how organized she was and she made everything so easy for me. Being new to the US, all the forms I had to fill out and submit were alien to me. However, she patiently explained everything and I will always be thankful for that. As we approached the date of our interview, David also set up 2 skype calls to better prepare us for this. He was present with us during the interview and though it was mostly my husband and I talking, it was reassuring to know that he was there. As mentioned earlier, the petition was successful and we got my conditional green card within a few months of filing. Initially, my husband (who is not a big fan of lawyers!) was wary and skeptical of hiring an attorney. But after meeting David and seeing all the correspondences between Nela and I, he was very impressed which says a lot. My husband and I will always be grateful to David and Nela for the support and guidance they have given us and will happily recommend them to anyone looking to start their life here in the US.
