I had a very positive experience working with Grace. From the beginning, she was responsive,…read moreorganized, and clear in her communication. Immigration processes can feel overwhelming, but she made it much easier by explaining each step and keeping things on track. One thing that really stood out was her attention to detail. She reviewed everything carefully and made sure nothing was missed. That gave me confidence that my case was being handled thoroughly. She was also consistently available to answer questions. In my experience, many immigration lawyers can be hard to reach or slow to respond, but she was the opposite. I never felt left in the dark about what was happening. Even after our formal work together was finished, she has remained available as a resource when questions come up. That level of ongoing support means a lot. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and reliable immigration lawyer.

I was searching in Yelp way back 2018 and i messaged someone who helped Attorney Grace. I was devastated to get my immigrant status because I left my hometown in Philippines and I don't wanna go back home and tell myself, I failed. To cut story short, my case was complicated and she helped me understand what are the possibilities and procedures would be like. She was very honest and intelligent woman. She will not lie to you if your case is possible to work on or you will lose. 2018 we filed VAWA and she made it possible for me to get my work authorization approved while waiting for my first case to be approved before applying for my permanent residency. I will be honest sometimes, I wanted to give up but I have to trust the process. 2019 i got my VAWA approved and filed my adjust status for my permanent residency. 2020- been waiting but gladly I can still work so patience is a virtue. I wanted to give up but I told myself, Quitters never win. I waited. 2021- despite of Covid, I heard a great news from Grace Alano that I am set for my greencard interview. Yes it is December and it would be a perfect Christmas gift and I couldn't ask for more. We went to Sta Clara USCIS for my interview and Atty Grace was there with me. The officer asked few questions but not related to my previous case. Then after few questions, I got my greencard approved! As soon as we stepped out the room, I cried to Atty Grace and said Thank you for making it happen. I can finally go home to Philippines and see my son and family. She hugged and congratulate me. If the time come and I need a legal help, I will go to Atty Grace Alano again. I highly recommend her to help you with your immigration case.

Mr. Laguatan brought me into his office, I gave him the documentation he had requested and we began discussing the options available. We spent a a solid 20 minutes discussing what could be done, and he concluded that it will cost a lot of money for a lawyer to push this case along, but his best advice was for my family member to wait it out. I inquired what did he mean, he said his best advice is to wait for comprehensive immigration reform. He then spent the remaining 40 minutes talking to me about matters that were unrelated to the case at hand (which I foolishly thought he stopped billing me when the conversation changed). After an hour he wrote up an invoice for the full hour' of work. Case in point, I paid $150 to have him tell me to keep my family member illegally here (after his visa expires) and wait for immigration reform. For work like that, one star is almost too much.
