Dr. Artzer always lays out my options in plain terms, treating me like an adult who can make decisions about his own teeth. His office has all the equipment you could need. The staff is wonderful! It's pretty rare when a dentist's office can make a standard cleaning something I actually sort of look forward to. I enjoy coming here. So, I embarked on the daunting task of trying to; 1) find a new dentist for her, 2) with appointments during the precise times she will be here from college, and 3) while getting the type of sensitive care she requires as she has a terrible needle/dentist phobia. I explained this to the very nice woman who made her initial appointment and they squeezed us in Monday morning at 8am. The appointment was to establish care, take some x rays, get her previous records, etc . . . Dr. Hairston was so nice and very honest. My daughter's teeth are in excellent shape and she only needed some air abrasion for some minor stains. Dr. Hairston didn't suggest any pricey procedures or try to sell us services we didn't need. The rest of the staff is great too. Charming took great care of Sarah and the woman who helped us with appointments was very nice. Not a rude or dismissive office culture. Very welcoming and professional. Now, for the appointments. We couldn't make anything solid for the cleaning because of the college schedule. So, we went on the "call when something comes open and we will see if that works." Well, we got home around 9am Monday and by 10:30am they had called to get her back in at noon for a cleaning. Wonderful!! Got that out of the way. Also, they squeezed her in Wednesday, end of day, for the air abrasions. My daughter is going back to NC Thursday morning with all her dental needs completed for the new school year. What a relief Stensland has been for us.
