Cheesy bread is ok. It's just missing some sort of herb, more butter or something to tie it together. And they kinda skimp on the side sauces. Don't know about the other appetizers. We went with the BBQ chicken pizza this time around and I've had way better BBQ chicken pizza elsewhere. Like the garlic cheese bread, it's just missing some sort of garnish/topping to tie it all together. For example, Mary's in Sonoma adds crispy onions and the added texture and taste make it an absolute favorite. The signature combo pizza however is pretty good. I literally got charged $8.27 plus tax for them inputting a note that I have a tomato allergy (Misc Open). I've never paid this fee for this same exact pizza order. That's about $9 more than was I've previously paid for this same order before. I brought this to their attention and the girl at the register (different than the gals I've picked pizza up from before) was very unhelpful and unwilling to correct. I did not want to cause a scene so I paid it especially since she refused to correct it. But due to how I was treated and what they did, they have lost my business. Please note that we called the order in versus doing it in the app but we should have ordered from the app because it would have been cheaper especially since they tacked on an additional fee and I brought that up when we picked up the order. The girl did nothing to resolve this and refused to. Extremely poor service which we never had in the past. Anyway, my husband was upset and advised them that we will no longer get pizza there for ourselves because of this. Our son's birthday is coming up in a month and he wanted to order some pizza for his party from them, but after this, we will take our business elsewhere. Additional context: Charged $74.40 yesterday for the Alaskan size pizza (white sauce, pepperoni, garlic, and basil). I'm allergic to tomatoes so I'm forced to pay for substituting it with white sauce. If they had extra olive oil as an alternative, I would have picked that. The sauce options that are available, the ones that don't cost extra to substitute, I cannot have. I remember when this same pizza was fifty some dollars a few years ago but we've been paying about $65 for this same exact pizza size with the same exact toppings the last couple years for myself. Coulda, shoulda, woulda.... Been in the area for 7 years. Finally decided to support this local place, let them win me over. Well....dissapointing is the word to describe my order. Ordered online, arrived to pick up and was told still cooking, ok no problem there. 15 min later i was told they were still working on my potato skins. Ok, no problem again. Upon getting my order and walking out i could feel the bottom of the XL pizza box did not feel warm. Hmmm, my thought was they forgot the potato skins and quickly made those while my pizza sat. Got it home in 5 min and immediately had to start my oven to reheat. Meanwhile the toaster oven was fired up in order to cook further the quickly cooked potato skins. Even after some warming in the oven the pizza remained cool. Not to meantion the skimpy toppings i added for $5 each. Overall the pizza lacked enough cheese and sauce. We were staying at Lake Minden RV Resort in Nicolaus and decided we wanted pizza. Barbecue is great, but at some point in the week everyone is ready for pizza! Well... Nicolaus is kinda in between everything. Between Highway 99 and Highway 70, between Lincoln and Yuba City, and just about halfway between pizza joints in Olivehurst or Wheatland. This trip we decided to give Olivehurst a try. I'm glad we did. The pizza and cheesy garlic bread were very good. What wasn't so good was the wait! I called the order in from the campground, that is about 20-25 minutes away. The girl taking my order said it would be about 25 minutes. I arrived to pick up my order 25 minutes after calling it in, paid, and waited anxiously to get my food and make the short trek back to camp so we could all eat. Well, I waited, and waited some more, and finally after being inside waiting for another 25 minutes, I asked the manager (I think) if my order was almost ready. She said "Let me check," and the next thing I new another girl appeared with my pizza and bread. I got my cheese and peppers and hurried home. The food was good and the staff were friendly. Time just passes a little slower here, I guess. The 25 minutes quoted turned into 50 minutes without a second thought. The menu offers a lot more than what I found in the reviews. Meh. It was mediocre. I ordered 2 GF pizzas for my husband but at 11.99 each these far from exceeded expectation. The toppings were wimpy. Like one of the slices didnt even have any chicken. He also was bummed the crust was chewy and corn mealy tasting. For the $24 I could have almost got 6 GF pizzas from Costco that are far larger and tasty. I ordered the "family special" for my kids and I to eat. Large pepperoni and olive. It was ok, glad I got thin crust as it seemed thick enough as "thin" crust goes. If I could get zero I would but 1 star is the lowest... My husband and I would order from here all the time for the past 4 years. Being new to the area I love doing business with small businesses. I had a deep craving for quality pizza so I ordered a medium "everything " pizza and mozzarella sticks. I had to order the mozzarella sticks to get my order delivered! I ended up paying $6.75 for delivery. The cost of my order was $34.97! My pizza came rather quickly and was delivered by a sweet young gal. I was so excited to try this pizza! I first sampled the mozzarella stick and was vastly disappointed! They weren't fried but instead soggy, limp and cold. Yuk! Then I opened up my pizza box and at first glimpse I noticed that the toppings were pretty sparse. And since the pizza was cold I had to zap my slice. I took my first bite so badly wanting to love it.....however, it was quite the opposite. The pizza lacked flavor, cheese and was pretty awful. Such a huge $34 dollar disappointment! I mean a frozen pizza would of tasted better.
