A lot of people were in Chicken and brisket watching the game but a lot of the tables were empty. First time for us here and there were a number of food stalls to choose from- Bento and Curry, Filipino, Chinese, sushi, bubble tea, Roll Up Cafe (I love their food) and others. Toilets were nice and clean (my husband said even the mens side were clean and that's saying a lot!). Nice and AC'd too! Parking was very easy, lots of it today but I've been when the lot is a mess. Highlands Market is the food court for Pearl Highlands and though spacious it's a popular spot for many in the area as it's home to many eateries in one spot with lots of seating and air conditioning and restrooms which many I'm sure are very grateful. This time I went to Gaon and got some soft tofu pork stew (soondubu). I'm not even lying when I say that this is the best tasting one I've ever had. Now don't judge me, I'm not Korean nor have I ever been to Korea, but based on many of the other soodubu I've tried on this island, this one is my new favorite. The lady working the counter (I believe is the owner) is very nice and patient. She even helped me figure out what to eat. The presentation of the tray with the banchan was beautiful, and each side was individually tasty. Such a well rounded, quality meal for a reasonable price.

Parking is free, but the stalls are a bit tight. This is unfortunate because there are many great shops and eateries here! Regal Theater is on one end, and Ross Dress For Less is at the other. The food court, Pearl Highlands Market, is in-between - next to Little Joe's Steakhouse and Liliha Bakery. In the past, I only went to Ross, and the theater. Today, I went to Cotti Coffee inside Highlands Market. Before today, I've been to the food court a couple of times, but now that Chicken & Brisket is there, I will have to return!
