This is and Italian restaurant, and as such, offers traditional Italian food, nothing too risky here. Same antipasti, risottos, salatas, pizzas and entress that you may find in any other Italian restaurant in the city, but it delivers.
It's a very casual dining experience with a hint of upscale dining. Its perfect for dinner dates, family meals on weekends, Sunday brunch, etc.
The hostess, and captain are very friendly and accommodating, but a few members of the waiting staff not so much. One of them even seemed annoyed when we decline to order wine with our food.
I ordered the salmon, which was a little overcooked (ruined the texture) with no salt or condiments for that matter. it came served with mashed potatoes witch was very good and perfectly crunchy grilled asparagus.
My wife ordered the feta cheese ravioli. Very well served dish, with lots of sauce (a little bit sour for my taste but completely edible and balanced by the extra parmigiano cheese).
As a side dish, we sample a mushroom pizza. It was the best dish of them all. The dough was thin, fluffy, soft and delicious, with the right amount of cheese and toppings (just enought to not overwelm each slice). If I come back here, I will start with pizza for sure!
Overall is a very good place to know. You can't go wrong choosing this place, but there are better Italian restaurants in the area for sure. read more
