I had the absolute displeasure of working for this company. By far one of the worst places I've had…read moreto work for. I was told I would partner with this company and that a Sister company would open underneath Girl Adored doing parties and events as Superheros more targeted at boys. I was told to sign a contract, a name had been registered and a logo bought with no consult from me as I was told I would have at least some say in it. I did one promo event at the theater and shortly thereafter the business closed. I had to take down my page I started before coming in contact with this business as I was told it would be confusing to customers yet a business starts and dies within a month of the name being out there. I was not notified that the closing of this business had even happened but had to find out myself. I know that the closing of this business had nothing to do with my performance, a party helper told me at the one event I did that it was the best performances they had ever seen. I was told that Superheros will still be booked just under the main name. Soon thereafter all communication with me and the CEO came to a crawl then stopped. I was booked for events and upon the day of the events another actor went in my place without word being passed to me. The CEO had once talked about how immature they thought it was for people to quit via text message yet I was fired through an email with no reason as to why. In that email they stated that I was to have no connection with Girl Adored Enchanted Events, yet shortly thereafter I was asked to come on as an independent contractor to preform at a party for a percentage of the pay. I feel as if I was brought in to delete everything I had started to build and am now having to start over from scratch again. I feel as if the company just wanted to get rid of any potential competition. I am deeply sadened by this falling out as I felt that this could have gone somewhere and I love performing, being in costume and participating in local events anytime that I can. It is sad that I showed deep interest in doing this sort of thing on my own as a side business to bring some characters to life for my community and do a good thing back in mid March was brought in board and let go late June with nothing to show for it and still at square one. to all buyers/applicants beware.
