Large parking lot. Playground area. Snack area . Restroom areas are clean and clear of clutter. Plenty of traffic to help you feel safe right off the highway. Definitely a good stopping point to take care of personal needs .

Two rest areas here - one for westbound and one for eastbound. I'm at the westbound as I'm headed towards Kansas. After driving for about three hours from Jefferson City (I made some stops along the way), it's time for a quick nap. Clean rest area and clean restrooms. Some brochures and other tourist information on local attractions. A small playground. The truck parking area is massive and further away from the highway. A cute clean rest area and although none of them are great I would like to ahve given it five stars but the ventilation in the mens room was terrible, or really non existent. And well it smelled the smells of a million men releiving themselves of terrible roadside food and too much time siting in hot sweat cars. Some of the fixures were out of service so there was a line waiting, really if they had just opened some windows it would have made all the difrence. In winter its not so bad but unventilated hot restrooms in summer are a great way to gag anyone.

I hope this sign lights up at night. They not on now but I've never seen a sign like this one. A playground right up front for the little ones. The ground is that rubber mat so if the kids fall they won't get hurt. And a Shelter house that looks like a gas station with a little wooden gas pump out front. There's picnic tables inside and more in the surrounding areas.

The rest area was maintained in immaculate condition, and the payphones provided were a pleasant walk back down memory lane. It is consistently pleasing to enter an establishment where the staff exhibits a welcoming demeanor. Additionally, an ample selection of informational brochures about the vicinity was available, along with a playground to accommodate children.

Mansfield Woods Vacation Cabins is owned by Barbara S. Herring and is extremely poorly run. Both…read morethe property and the cabins are in extremely poor state. Perhaps some time ago they were in better shape, but they clearly have been neglected for a long time. The description on the website states that the cabins were recently renovated, but it is clearly incorrect, as they are in serious need of maintenance. The photos do not match the accommodations at all. The cabins reek of mold and mildew. The carpeting is dirty and old, and for some reason there is carpet in the bathrooms (more mildew). The air conditioners were practically clogged with dust, and there was dust on the walls and on the ceilings. The A/C barely put out enough air and took a long time to cool the cabins. The cabins felt very rickety and unsafe, especially the decks. Locks on doors were flimsy. There was a hole in the wall of one of the cabins we rented. Showers did not work right and the bathtubs did not drain well. The beds were small and uncomfortable. While there were screens on the windows, there were such large gaps in the frames that bugs could easily get in; as a result, the cabins were full of them (ranging from moths to spiders to mosquitoes and flies). There are multiple unfinished or ruined buildings on the property. The pond closest to the cabins is almost dry and is more like a swamp that breeds mosquitoes. The other pond is a bit bigger, but very overgrown and dirty. To add insult to injury, Kyle, the man assigned to take care of the cabins during our stay appeared to be under the influence of drugs for the majority of the time and behaved unprofessionally towards me and my friends, at one point walking out on the deck of his cabin with no clothes on while we were having dinner. Mansfield Woods Vacation Cabins is among the worst establishments I've ever stayed at. I would never again stay there, and advise others to stay away as well. I lodged multiple complaints against Mansfield Woods with the state agencies.

Next time, I will eat veggie luncheon at the seed farm! Caroline's was cute, but biscuits and gravy were poor--should try donuts and cinnamon rolls next time. The B&B, Weaver's on the town square, had a delightful tea (2-4 p.m.) and iced coffee for our afternoon respite. Our cabin was quiet, rustic and provide necessary items: microwave, coffee maker, fridge for enjoying a leisurely morning start. Hope to go back sometime. The drive on Hwy. 5 from Lebanon south is just delightful!

Two bench seats outside by the entrance. Two restaurants within walking distance. The lobby is brightly lit with a large reception desk, vending machine and seating area. Breakfast room is right off the lobby. Check-in was friendly and efficeint. The room assigned was at the end of the first floor hall and it was recommended we park near the entrance on that end of the building. A key card is required to open that door. The rooms are small and minimally furnished. Our standard queen room had one side table, one lamp, dresser w/TV and microwave, fridge and a comfortable chair. The closet area had a good numer of hangers, iron and board. No luggage rack. Sink/vanity is in room and has a good amount of space for toiletries. Tissues, a hand towel bar, bar soap and coffee service are here. Toilet and shower room is small. Two sets of soft towels and plenty of TP on shelves here. The shower head, although it had a bit of hard scale, had excellent pressure and good spray pattern. Plenty of hot water. Floor mat and multi-use personal care items in shower. The room was warm throughout our visit. The blackout curtains would not stay shut/closed/together so I used the 'clip on hanger' trick to fix that (see photo). The bed is soft. Three pillows. Warm blanket. Soft sheets. The metal bed frame does stick out a bit and is covered with a bed skirt. The lamp has two outlets in the base. Both worked. The other side of the bed does not have a plug. There is no desk area in room. Breakfast included coffee and tea, some individually wrapped pastry, cold cereal, sausage gravy and biscuits, hard boiled eggs, toast, yogurt, apples, juice. The breakfast area is clean and bright with one TV in the corner showing morning news/lifestyle program.
