My tire was repaired and true the next day, bike has never tracked smoother. Oh, and it was less than $40 for three broken spokes and even more bent. The store is located in the historic Madison Train Depot, which sits at the corner of Washington Ave...and you guessed it, the train tracks! Space is gorgeous and has a lot of the original and historic charm left. The main space is a large sprawling open room with floor to ceiling windows flanked by multiple rows of bicycles. There is a smaller space through a step down that features more bikes lining the walls. In addition to the actual bicycles, they offer a wide variety of accessories, tools, kits, tires, tubes, etc...and even a few other outdoor sports for those who go beyond bikes. Service was super friendly. While we were not after a bicycle that day, the staff was very welcoming, helpful and enjoyed chatting up about bicycles...as we had questions! I was able to ride a path behind the shop to get a feel and the workers here were very helpful and offered honest advice. Once I had the bike and put it together, I rode over and got it checked out to make sure I put it together correctly and they immediately were able to help me true the wheels and changed out a squeaky brake pad for me - free of cost. Throughout the experience, the staff where informative and helpful. They steered me to just the bike I needed (and incidentally, not the most expensive one of its type). They took time to help me get the perfect fit (one size up from what I expected ending up perfect for me), and even provided extra advice about how to maximize the use of gear combinations (with this bike having more gears than my old ones). After helping me choose the right accessories, despite my saying there wasn't a rush, they got everything installed on the same afternoon before closing, and I was able to enjoy the bike right away. Wouldn't be surprised if the fire at their last shop was insurance fraud and or covering up stolen goods.
