There are cute nooks to read in, a big play area, a crafting room, and a large variety of children books. I loved seeing the small enclosures near the computer for those with small babies that need to have a space for the baby while the parent uses the computer. The main and upper level are full of books, media, local art work displays, and conference/tech/study rooms. The one person bathrooms are super large, have hooks for bags, and are gender neutral. The library also offers a water bottle refill stations on each level too. There is a snack machine on the main level.

Mu ha ha!…read more I first started out in their graphic novel section on the first floor and let me tell you, it was the largest collection I have seen in my travels! I was impressed! I then went to check out their kids section on the 3rd floor, figuring I'd work from the top down. They have tons to offer the 'itty bitties'- picture books, chapter books, more graphic novels and audio books also! Heading down to the 2nd floor to check out their teen section (to the right) they have a comfy, informal atmosphere with bean back style chairs, computers and a spiral staircase that climbs upward to the 3rd floor teen meeting room. The rest of the floor is a mix of fiction and nonfiction, copiers and computers and magazines. All-in-all, I'm a fan!

The education I got from Lawrence University was stellar and I am confident that it will bring me…read moremany places in life. As a student at Lawrence, there were ample opportunities; I felt like I could be who I wanted and Lawrence would support me in my endeavors. As a student at ole Larry U, I was able to work, tutor, volunteer, intern, and research, which is incredible compared to the educations of many peers who attended top ten universities like UW-Madison or UIUC. The class sizes are small. Tutorials and independent studies are encouraged by the faculty. Professors really care about their students and it is not unusual for them to invite students over for dinner or happy hour. The party scene is pretty impressive for such a small school. The VR and College Ave. provide excellent options for nightlife. The Performing Arts Center is just down the block for Broadway shows to supplement the incredible performances that take place at Lawrence weekly from the Conservatory of Music. I feel like Lawrence is a part of my family forever and I am happy to say that I will be a Lawrentian for life--even if people in Chicago ask, "Oh, is that in Kansas?" when I tell them where I went to school. Lawrence gave me essential tools in critical thinking and learning about what the right questions to ask are. For that, I am eternally grateful. If anyone is thinking of going to Lawrence, feel free to message me. I would love to talk your ear off about this incredible college that changes lives!

The campus put off a warm, welcoming vibe even on a day when students were gone for their winter break. I can't believe I haven't written a review for the library. I like going here to have a change of…read morescenery when doing some work. They have small desks with a top and a couple of outlets so I can plug in my electronic devices and stay in the zone and not get distracted when working. Besides books, movies, and music they lots of computers so you can surf the web or work on a project/homework. All you need is a library card which easy (and painless) to get. I also come to the library to print some documents. It only costs $0.25 to print something (color and B&W) and you just give cash to one of the employees and the put the money on your account. I'm pretty impressed with the events and all the services they offer. I hope people don't think it's only books here, more people should support the library system here in Green Bay.
