Terrible customer service and Terrible Work! Very expensive to Boot...Pun intended!!! My boots and a pair of shoes were given back to me without being cleaned and the work that was done was not the work that I'd requested and that was promised! My boots looked better before I brought them in, my pair of shoes were not wiped down/cleaned..This was my first time using this shoe shop and it will be my last! This shop ruined my good/expensive pair of patent leather boots by using the wrong polish!!! They are cracking now and have no shine! It was an amazing place for many years! sadly the owner sold to his cousin who told me my shoes were gone when I gave him my claim ticket...I had dropped them at the beginning of the summer and went to pick up in September (which had never been a problem). This guy is OUTSTANDING!! One of my beloved EMU boots had a hole where the big toe is? It was a tiny hole but a hole nonetheless. These boots are sheepskin like Uggs only waterproof. Ahhh I love my emu boots!!). He patched it up from the inside and I can't even tell from the outside where the hole was. I'm telling you. OUTSTANDING!! On the inside, the patch is some kind of super leather so my big toe won't be tearing that any time soon! And feels so comfortable when wearing it. It's perfect!! Tip: free 2 hour parking lot right behind this shoe repair shop but entrance is at the front. Also cash or checks only as of time of my review but very reasonably priced especially for such OUTSTANDING results?! I'm def. sticking to this guy for any future shoe repairs I may need. I have a beautiful pair of brown suede boots. Because they are pull on style, it was really difficult to get my foot past the ankle turn. We discussed options - I could've had him stretch them but then they would have been a bit baggy around the ankle, detracting from the look. So he put a zipper at the inside ankle of each. He did such a beautiful job that you would never know the boots weren't made with those zippers. And now I can get them on. read more

I've used this cobbler for 10 years or more because had done decent work, but will never go back again, because of this experience. I dropped off 2 pairs of Paul Green tie oxfords three weeks ago. He told me he would charge $35 to reheel each pair & to patch a couple of small holes for a price of $70 total. I lost my claim ticket & when I came to pick them up he said the price would be a third again what I was quoted ($100) & when I asked to see his copy of the claim ticket - he said he could "no longer find it in the wastebasket," even though I saw where he had thrown it. Nice. & he insisted on my paying in cash & did not provide a receipt. Extremely disappointing experience, highly unprofessional behavior, and quite dishonest. I will never go back, & I do not recommend this place of business. read more
