He never mentioned that she should have a follow-up echo and that she should be on blood thinners. He always pushed her off onto his physician assistants who rotated through his office. He is incompetent I don't know if it's because of his age and he should just retire or if he's always been this way. He also didn't notice for 20 years that my mother needed hip replacement. She called him complaining that she needed PT because her walking was getting difficult and he never called her in to evaluate her. He just ga e her the PT prescription without seeing her. The PT could tell right away that she needed she need hip replacement and sent her off for an x-ray why couldn't Dr Koop have done this for her? What does he do at the office? His wife is the office secretary. Maybe this is another issue.

He is physically fit and there is no apparent wheezing. He appears sober and rational, although his sense of humor is seriously impaired. I go to him whenever I have an ache here or a pain there and I need a good kvetch. If you think you need a doctor, this is the guy to see.
