They have a few other things besides food including cowboy hats, flip flops, and personal care products. The store was larger than I expected, very clean, service was friendly, and there was ample free parking. No wait at checkout. Prices are decent.

It's located at 1839 Lower Rd (Rte 32). Fun fact: Old Furnace was significant at the time of the American Revolution, as a location that manufactured cannon balls. The OFGS was reopened less than 6 months ago, has a license to sell beer and hard liquor with an impressive assortment of such for a small footprint, an assortment of delicious pastries ( I tried the carrot cake whoopee pie and a brownie, both outstanding), has excellent coffee and an assortment of sandwiches delivered daily around 10:30 AM. I met the new owners, Amber and Jeremy, truly nice people who are thrilled to bring the store back to life, and passionate about their venture. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well stocked the store was with food and sundries. It is no secret that I love seeing local businesses succeed. The coffee and pastries were an excellent value. I did not see prices on the beer and wine. The is plenty of parking and a couple of picnic table under an awning to eat at outside. Please take the time to stop by and sample what Old Furnace has to offer. You will be surprised and delighted by what you find. They will begin selling ice cream and sundaes soon.

Kj's has a huge selection of wines, both domestic and imports. They also have a seperate tasting room which is a great idea. The interior is clean and tastefully decorated. They sell sparkling wines (Champagne, Cava, etc) and liquors that they might not carry at other places. While this is mainly a wine store, they do a good job of offering other liquids. They have a good cheese selection as well. And they are always offering free tastes of the cheeses. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about everything in the store. If you live in the area, definitely worth stopping in. One of the finer wine shops in the area.

The greatest selection of craft brew beers around; possibly in all of New England. They just added a Wellness Bar (fresh juices and smoothies) that is as good as what you get at home. Stop 'N' Shop in Hadley is labeled as Moderate yet their prices are a lot higher than Hannaford's. The deli has a very, very nice selection of lunchmeat, cheese, and prepared meals.
