Poor customer service. Rude/entitled staff. Use to pickup tinted sunscreen here every few months when it was Drago's. I called to ask about picking up the tinted sunscreen and the women on the other line was incredibly rude and stuck up. read more

Unfortunately I made an appointment at 3pm and by 3:30 was told my stylist had a family emergency and that they tried to ask other stylists to take me in for a cut but weren't able to. They offered my a free cut and two complimentary hair products for the inconvenience which I appreciated! I went to Jess to fix my hair because another hair dresser messed it up. It was splotchy and the toner made my hair a sea foam green color that wouldn't fade for a week while I waited to get it fixed. I was very nervous going to someone new especially since I just had a terrible experience. Jess was so great! She educated me on her process and made me feel very safe, I was so happy with the results that I decided to go back in a couple of months to improve my hair once it was safe to bleach again. I then went to a hair dresser my sister was going to and I went even lighter. Once I was over the bleaching and wanted to get my natural color back I decided to pay Jess another visit and once again she killed it! I highly recommend her. I can't speak for all the stylists here, but I have known Drago for about 30 years. I live almost an hour away, so don't go as often as I did when I was closer. That being said, he is by far the best stylist I have ever had. When I lived in Hawaii, if I knew I would be visiting family here, I would wait to get my hair done so I could use Drago. This place is the best! I have two categories to review: I hired Drago Salon for my bridal makeup and hair. They not only came out to my location for a low fee, they also worked fast, efficiently and we all looked fantastic! The girls were great and personable and it really helped make the whole day perfect! I went into the actual salon for a long overdue massage. I had requested a deep tissue, 90 min. session and I really got my money's worth! She was focused yet friendly, offered some great advice and ACTUALLY worked out the bricks my shoulders and back muscles had turned into to. I was so surprised with how much she was able to loosen up and release! I will definitely be booking with her again in the future! read more

I'm new to the area and in need of a facial wax. Dragos was the first salon to actually answer so I made an appointment for Friday Nov. 20 at 11:00 am. I woke up that morning with a sore throat and body aches. Uh oh I thought I might be coming down with something. So I called and cancelled. Later that morning a person named Cheryl left a message saying they didn't do facial waxing a their salon and gave me the name and number of someone who did. Basically saying I wasn't welcome there. I had symptom of what could be COVID. I thought I was doing the right thing by cancelling. What if I have it? Do they want their salon contaminated? Just trying to do the right thing. read more

Jessica is a great hairstylist. She listens to what you want and gives you what you want. I had a horrible experience before finding Jessica at Dragos. Someone messed up my hair horribly and treated me pretty bad for it. I found Jessica through someone mentioning her on the Minden blog and found her Instagram. She had really pretty work and I reached out to Jessica and she set me up a date to fix my hair. I actually got to go in earlier cause she had an opening since someone cancelled. She gave me a consultation before doing anything (nobody has ever done that) I thought it was super professional and made me feel like she knew what she was doing. She treated me great and she is very professional. When going into a new salon I was kind of nervous but she made me feel great. She did a shadow root and fixed my hair to an ACTUAL balayage. I will be going back to Jessica! The whole atmosphere of the salon is great. The front desk receptionist is so nice and they have a great display of products. They also offer drinks while your waiting/getting your hair done! read more

Jessica, who is pretty fresh out of beauty school and is an apprentice to Drago, gave me to best shampoo/head massage I have ever had! It reminded me of the one time that I went to a super fancy salon in Palm Springs where a cut costs $250.00 but it comes with champagne. I've always thought that Drago is the best in town. You sit down and let him do his magic on your head. He does not overcharge and he is truly a pro stylist. Sarah at Drago's is an amazing find for blondes in need of a style/haircut. I had my haircut at another salon in Minden about a month prior to finding Drago's and it was terrible. It was so bad that my husband had to take some kitchen scissors because his fingers will not fit in shears to try and straighten some of it out. I was truly desperate as my hair had bulk in places it was not needed and was missing layers in places that were. I called Drago's and was lucky enough to get a same day appointment with Sarah who gave me a fantastic cut! She saw everything I saw that needed attention or more detail and fixed the problems. This place is phenomenal! I go to get my eyebrows done and have never been more happy. I have a gigantic scar through the top of my eyebrow and this is the only lady that can make it look like it doesn't exist. Stephanie is my hair stylist and she is a pro. I was able to get the cut and color I wanted, but at the same time was told what wouldn't work. Honestly, I felt like family from the moment I walked in. Donna is THE BEST! Only reason this review is 4 stars instead of five is because the lighting inside is horrible. I think they may have installed new lighting since the last time I've been in but I'm not sure. All I remember was that it was almost dark inside, so dark that you couldn't see the color of hair well on the swatches and couldn't see your own hair color at all, you had to go outside to see the finished product. read more

Stephanie is fun loving and just a delight to talk to as she works her fast hands and give me a great hair cut and style. I went to Dragos for the first time yesterday after winning a gift certificate in a fundraising tackle that they had donated. I have to say this entire place and their staff was amazing! I moved to the area from LA and we had some great salons. Dragos offers everything you would expect from a great salon with the friendly small town feeling. They offer every service you can imagine and the salon itself is designed and decorated beautifully. I got both a facial by Marianne and hair cut by Stephanie and both were absolutely wonderful.
