I'm a baby poler and have been interested in this space for awhile now. I took a level 1…read morechoreography class w Jean and it was so fun. She's great. Bring knee pads, water bottle, and a yoga mat... Jean had a great warm up and her teaching style was on point. Awesome energy from her. The studio was easy to find and lots of parking. I was very shy going into a new studio but my nerves calmed as soon as I got into class. Very welcoming students and staff. I bought a 4 class new student pack for $49. I specifically sought out Jean for choreo and Laura for lyra (hoop). I have never taken a hoop class but have been dying to try. Laura is super knowledgeable and I also enjoy her teaching style as well. But I am sure all the instructors are super. Can't wait to eventually try them. What stands out to me w this studio specifically are the different rooms for different classes. Love that. Over all a pleasant experience. I encourage you to keep in mind that all studios are different so rules/requirements are different. Try not to compare one to the other, go in w an open mind ready to take what you can get from each studio/instructor knowledge wise. I say this w experience because I myself attend several pole studios and work at a competitive studio as an admin. Once my 4 pack of classes are finished I would def continue to try different classes/instructors this studio has to offer. Also, in relation to my 4 pack class you do have to use them within a month. Please keep that in mind so there are no surprises. Also keep in mind when attending class arrive early as a courtesy and respect to students and teachers. Also have fun! I had a blast!

I requested cancellation on November 20, 2025, yet charges have continued…read more After my request, I received an email asking if I was "sure" I wanted to cancel. My original message already made that clear. Because I did not reply again to restate the same confirmation, billing continued. I had already paid a $60 early cancellation fee, and later was charged an additional $99 to an account I did not authorize for continued billing. These charges occurred after my cancellation request. I would advise others to keep written records and closely monitor billing if they attempt to cancel.

Okay bestie, sit DOWN because we need to talk about Chuze Fitness Cypress…read more I toured MULTIPLE gyms in this area before committing (yes, I made them all work for it, I'm a gym girlie with standards ) and let me tell you... Chuze Cypress said "you may stop looking" and I said okuuuuuurt. This gym is not just clean, it is IMMACULATE. The kind of clean that makes you want to wear your cutest workout fit just to match the energy. And the STAFF? They greet you like you're a regular at your favorite brunch spot. Every. Single. Time. No attitude, no ignoring you while scrolling on their phone...just genuine "welcome, we see you, we're happy you're here" energy. It's giving hospitality. It's giving excellence. It's giving "this is how customer service should ALWAYS be." I genuinely look forward to training here, which is a WHOLE testimony because I do not hype gyms up for fun. Now let's talk about the recovery room because I need everyone to understand: this is not a perk, this is a LIFESTYLE. The air chairs? Sat down and ascended. The compression boots? I have had full-on spiritual experiences in those boots. The sauna? I walk in stressed, I walk out reborn. I have genuinely had to be talked out of moving my mattress in there. 10/10 peace, 0/10 desire to leave. To everyone in Cypress or repping the 562 area...RUN, don't walk. Dis gym is DA ONE and I will not be entertaining alternative opinions at this time. Massive shoutout to Jadyn and the whole management team: y'all run a TIGHT, polished, welcoming ship and it truly shows in every single interaction. You built a staff culture that feels like a warm hug with a side of "let's get you stronger," and that is HARD to do. Chuze Cypress, you didn't just earn a member. You earned a whole hype woman.

I like this gym, but I feel it has gone downhill since Covid. From my understanding, this gym has…read morestrict facility rules/guidelines and etiquette policies. One such policy is the 'no noise violation' where playing music out loud is not permitted. This means that every member, is supposed to use headphones, in all areas of the gym. Some female members, will sit in the individual dressing rooms, (where the shower stalls are also located) and play really loud podcasts or music, without using proper headphones. This causes an unnecessary noise disturbance, for other members nearby. The audio is so loud, that people by the lockers, can probably hear it. I feel like employees, should address this matter, and enforce the no noise policy. Besides that, I have been randomly stopped 3 times by employees. One time a female employee (African American lady with glasses and long braids) stopped me, after I scanned my key tag, and was heading to the women's locker room. She saw that I had flip flop sandals on, and asked if I brought workout shoes with me. I had to tell her I was not planning on working out, I was just going to take a shower. She then replied with "no worries, no worries!" and let me be on my way. It was quite a weird interaction....it seemed like she assumed, I didn't have shoes in my duffel bag, or I was going to work out with flip flops on. Who works out in any type of sandals?!?! The two other times I was stopped, due to my membership. Both times, the employees told me, they had to verify that my account was legit and active (even though I was already 3 months into my membership). Both times, they checked and found no issues with my account. I am wondering now, how many more times am I going to be stopped??!! Also, some of the employees are inconsistent, when it comes to greeting members. Some employees will greet you, while others will completely ignore you. The male employees seem to only greet certain female members. I also notice a lot of times, the employees will have personal side conversations. It was never like this before, the staff and atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. I don't know what happened.

I started working out at Lift two months ago, and I absolutely love it…read more The workouts are effective and efficient, and, if you're a nerd like me, it's interesting to hear Dirk and Chenell talk about how the movements strengthen different muscle groups. They're always nearby to make sure my form is correct, and they never lose patience when I ask them to remind me how to do certain moves. Speaking of supervision, I went to Lift today for the first time in about a week and a half, and I told Chenell that I've been experiencing some pain in my left shoulder. She sent Dirk outside to talk to me about it, and after I described my symptoms, he re-wrote part of my workout and continued to check in to make sure I wasn't in any pain. I felt super safe and respected, and there was ZERO pressure for me to push through any discomfort. Hiiiighly recommend this place!

I've heard him say verbatim to a woman next to me, " that's because you're stupid". Another time " yeah, you're an idiot". He's demeaned me many times. I just accepted it as part of The Lift Silverlake Experience. One day I came in and said "nice new shirt and it looks fancy and you look nice.. which he replied to me "what about you? You look like you just rolled out of bed and put on dirty clothes". Which is hilarious because I was fresh out of the shower with fresh clean clothes.. I always showered before my workout because Dirk likes to make fun of people who smell. I was giving him a compliment but he doesn't know how to take it, so he spews hate. After that interaction he banned me from his paid social club. I said nothing except what I mentioned above and when questioned why I was banned, they simply said they didn't want to talk about it. I attached Dirk's email banning me so you can see that obviously I was a very good client and they never had issues in the past. I was never late. I never missed a session. I never acted inappropriately ever.. I spent over $6,000 dollars training with them. Dirk is a very troubled person and I hope he finds help for his mental issues. I wish everyone at Lift Silverlake the best and it would be a beautiful place without Dirk there with all his hate and spite. God bless and always sending prayers for peace, comfort and grace. Dirk and Chenell... People are paying you for a service. Not to be put down, bullied or traumatized. It's not just bad business, you're messing with peoples' lives, their goals and their ambitions. Please stop crushing people's passion for exercise. Lastly, he doesn't allow black people at the gym. He prefers white women and beta white men. If you don't get contacted back by them it's because they profiled your age, sex, and/or race with their interview process and didn't like you..

Life-changing results in just 6 weeks…read more My experience working with Bruno was phenomenal. From the moment I reached out, he was attentive, kind, and very hands-on. His approach to nutrition is simple to follow, with no complicated instructions, yet incredibly effective, and it doesn't require major sacrifices. For the past few years, I tried different nutritionists, and no one could identify the issues I was experiencing. Bruno did. In just 6 weeks of following his program, I reached my desired weight and, most importantly, felt like myself again. I'd recommend Bruno to anyone looking to make a meaningful change in their life through food and proper nutrition.

I was skeptical in the beginning because the reviews looked too good to be true, but I'm now so…read morehappy I went forward with it--this program has surpassed all my expectations! Working with Bruno through the '7 Elements of Balance' has been a life-changing experience and a total transformation. In just 13 weeks, I lost 26.3 lbs and saw my BMI drop from 33.4 down to 28.7 (moving from Obese Class 1 to Overweight). While the numbers speak for themselves--including losing 4 inches off my waist--the lifestyle habits are what I value most. I've become a consistent morning runner and I actually enjoy it! I'm much more mindful and aware of what I'm eating, my water intake has improved, and for the first time, I find myself looking forward to eating vegetables. Bruno is a one-of-a-kind coach who works with you one-on-one. He is incredibly flexible, understanding, and encouraging. You can tell he truly loves what he does and cares about his clients looking and being at their best--spiritually, physically, and in all the good things. If you want a coach to help you reach your peak self, Bruno is the person to see!
