It put our minds at ease knowing that our fur babies were in the care of someone who will give them the same love, affection & attention that they receive at home. They loved their hike through the woods where they could sniff as much as they wanted & explore a new place. We will definitely use Tails N' Trails Pets again the next time we are in the area & couldn't recommend them enough!

Tails N’ Trails is a uniquely different pet service from other dog walking companies in Massachusetts. We aren’t just dog walkers; we are certified pet caretakers and exercise specialists. All of our walkers have taken an extensive dog training course that, certified as trainers, can provide pet owners a sense of assurance to pet owners who may be uneasy about leaving their beloved companion with a run-of-the-mill dog walking company. We pride ourselves on being able to offer services that are customizable to each of our client’s unique pet care needs. Our services include 80 minute off-leash excursions outside of the city, 3- or 6-hour adventure daycare, both group and solo walks, pet visits, in-home sitting & boarding. Additionally, we off recall, obedience and leash etiquette training.

I started doing competition obedience training 2 years ago after just 6 months of training I was able to get my dog a CD title in just three tests. It's a no nonsense training. The instructor understands dog behavior which makes it easier to understand why your dog does things. In addition to great training the have top quality food. Great safe toys. And good training. Since then we have enrolled in several classes because we love it so much! We have gained so much knowledge and support in each of these classes that is priceless as a first time dog owner. Champion is also the only place I feel comfortable boarding my dog. The level of care and love that they show to my boy is unmatched. Each time we pull into the parking lot his tail is wagging a mile a minute because he is so excited! The pricing for both day and night boarding is incredibly reasonable especially with how well taken care of I know he is. We owe so much to Champion Kennels and can not say enough positive things about them!

Please note that I did not have my dog groomed here, my rating and review is to provide feedback…read moreregarding my experience with the business. I called on a Friday and left a message to inquire about having my 30 lb Icelandic Sheepdog groomed. I received a text message from Lucas on Sunday following up. When I told him the size and breed of my dog, he replied that they cannot currently accommodate new customers with longer-haired breeds, as the groomers are booked months in advance and they can't keep up with demand. Lucas was professional and apologetic and for that I'm appreciative. Being in a position to turn away customers and income is a good problem to have for any business, and I hope that they continue to see high demand for their services. However, from the customer perspective, the reality is that I called a business requesting a service, and I was turned away. Unless you're a nightclub, that type of treatment, as necessary as it may seem in the short-term, doesn't bode well for long-term success. I still have a dog that needs to get groomed, and I'll have to take my business elsewhere. In doing so, I'll likely recount the experience of being turned away to other dog owners, and as any business owner knows, word-of-mouth is crucial to success. For the future, I'd recommend the team take a different course of action than to simply turn people away- rather, advise on the lengthy wait time, offer to make an appointment, no matter how far out, and offer to call if cancellations arise. I would have greatly appreciated that courtesy and felt as if they really wanted to earn my business. Instead, I was left feeling shut out and as though this business couldn't be bothered to accept my money. At the end of the day, simply saying "sorry, can't do it" to a customer, no matter how necessary it may feel and how politely you deliver the message, will always leave a bad taste in their mouth. They'll tell others about that bad taste, and they'll likely never return.

Luna had a great time during her visit. It was her first time to the groomer at just under 7 months old; her undercoat is still developing and her overcoat is only just starting to come in. We learned that it was the first Belgian Tervuren that Bubbly Pup has groomed, and it was evident they really did their homework and studied her breed for a perfect approach to her grooming. We couldn't be happier with the results and will definitely be back. I also appreciate the convenience of text messaging in addition to phoning for appointments and updates.
